Love this ost! It's actually a remix from an early game soundtrack for domains (dungeons) called Beats of Water Drops, but made into a Boss Battle soundtrack for a side quest. Also, the official collections are usually version based, for example the Sumeru discs are divided into... i think 3 or 4 discs, due to the major version updates that continued to expand the region.

Sumeru in total is 10 discs, 4 for rainforest 4 for desert, one for the version trailers and one for the cinematic stuff.

4 types of albums: - The Stellar Moments 1-2 - character demos and teasers - Footprints of the Traveler 1-2 - version trailers - The Shimmering Voyage 1-3 - in-game cutscenes + promo videos + music from limited-time events (one disc in every album is dedicated to that year's summer event) + the first album has one disc for boss battle themes - the other 10 albums are location OSTs: the first track is typically a concert arrangement / compilation to showcase the music of the region (e.g. Liyue, Inazuma, Fontaine); the last disc (usually titled as "Battles of ") is battle themes

Basically it's a theme from the genshin version of Atlantis (it kinda reminded me of the music from No Man's Sky)

Theres a reason many people still think to this day that Enkanomiya's soundtrack was the peak for Genshin music. This theme is a huge contrast to the rest of the album, which features a string quintet for the most part, and dives fully into synth and metal sounds to showcase the ancient (almost alien) beings you fight in the depths of that realm.

I don't think there's anything else that quite sounds like this in the game. I really like how it feels like waves. It's a bit intense but calming at the same time.

Enkanomiya is still one of the top contender for my favourite area, OST wise

I think this track is from an area called Enkanomiya which is a sub-area in Inazuma thats located in a massive cavern deep under another island. The area has kind of an eerie feel to it. That should be the reason why it sounds quite different than some other tracks from that same album. A track with a similar feel to it is "Undersea Encounters" as its from the same area. There should be a few more calmer ones, but i dont know the titles of those.

This ost has to be one of the most underrated one by far. It's up there to contend with the best piece of music from the entire genshin ost. It genuinely is very well written and atmospheric.

All the in-game music is grouped by release time, so a collection will have mostly the main new overworld region that all has instrumental and motif language uniting it, but also any subregions (like this one), new events in older nations, story quests with completely different tones, and whatever other random pieces of music are new. The music made for trailers is more organized in The Stellar Moments (characters) and Footprints of the Traveler (versions).

Typically, each year will see two region albums: one with music from the region's initial release and the other with music from the rest of that region's run. There will also be one album released per year containing all of the character trailer music (The Stellar Moments). Each region will also end with a Volume of The Shimmering Voyage, which is a collection of all the music that was created for cutscenes, events, and promotional media throughout the year. They also released an album featuring all of the patch trailer music which currently only has one volume but will likely get more.

And yeah, to add a bit to what other said, there are some areas within a region that can be distinct from the broader region. The first Sumeru album has a few tracks related to The Withering, which sounds extremely different from anything else in the game. The Withering is a sickness of the forest and so the music that plays in those areas naturally (no pun intended) is very unnatural. It still goes on the region's first album, however, as The Withering was introduced along with the region's release.

I believe this is a domain combat track from inazuma. But it might be earlier, most of us clear them a lot faster than this soundtrack lasts, so maybe that's why this sounds fresh. Edit: It's a remix of "Beats of Fresh Water Drops", which is an early game domain track. The playlists/albums of the soundtracks of Genshin are structured in 3 parts usually (sometimes 4 for the longer ones); the first few parts have music from the main part of the game. The final is the one that contains the boss themes and the combat themes, which includes domains.

Ohh so this was that banger that i suddenly hear when do Enkanomiya Quest, i really at first wondered if im only imagining things that time that i suddenly hear drum sounds when those two vishap attack me but now thanks to this i find this now
