Joe Bonamonster is the blues master of this generation. Enjoy going down his rabbit hole. Slow Gin is an amazing song live.

Joe Bonamassa, from Utica N.Y., was a young prodigy, trained and mentored by studio legend, Danny Gatton. He opened 20 shows for the venerable B.B. King at 12 years old! He has built quite a career solo and collaborating with some A+ talent. Check out his work with my favorite female singer Beth Hart, it's smoldering! Peace & Love.

7:36 Right here! Total King Crimson vibes! 8:30 And... John Lee Hooker/ZZ Top! 9:39 Peter Frampton! Very cool, just casually tossin' in those bits and bobs. Sign of a master craftsman.

The whole show "Live at Rockpalast" is awesome......mesmerizing.

Joe Bonamassa currently owns the blues/rock Billboard charts with a record 25 of his albums, both studio and live, to hit number one and has become massively successful over the decades but since he owns his own record label many people haven't heard of him or had much exposure to his music. Enjoy the rabbit hole because it will expose you to a lot of other great talents too. Joe always surrounds himself with world class musicians and can span many genres but is most known for his blues/rock stuff.

Love his intonation, runs, structure, and sound! Joe might be the man with the largest knowledgebase of all things guitar, amp and style. Thx Lee!

Joe is an incredible live performer. I have seen him several times and have tickets for his Summer tour in Indy this year. Tunes to checkout include Django/ Mountain Time, Dust Bowl, Redemption, Just Got Paid, and many many more!! He has several songs with Beth Hart that are just incredible. Their version of I’d Rather be Blind is a must see! Another great reaction Lee!👏👏

Goin' Down live at the Greek or Sloe Gin live at Red Rocks are good examples of his live shows.

The evel of musicianship of this band is another level above the bands you normally listen to. Joe is simply amazing and he has the best sideman you can find. As a drummer you know these kind of rhythms are really hard to maintain for a while band. Joe also has some wonderful collaborations with Beth Hart. This is a deep rabbit hole.

I just came across a KZbin video where JB was at Norman's rare guitars. He's selling that guitar that he used in that video.

Just in case you thought Joe's fusion phase was short-lived, check him out in Rock Candy Funk Party or his album Easy to Buy, Hard to Sell

Try Joe Bonamassa live at Royal Albert Hall, High Water Everywhere. It has great double drums, also Joe Bonamassa and Beth Hart anything would be wonderfull.

Funny you should comment on Joe’s guitar, as he has one of the most extensive collections of guitars and amplifiers in the country. Joe is a force to be reckoned with in the world of blues. You need to check out his collaborations with the Queen of the Blues Beth Hart ❤. ✌🏼😎

The song right after that is a cover he did of a jethro tull song called "A new day yestersay", I really recommend you to check that out :)

I loved this era of Joe Bonamassa..they were burning up the clubs at this time. He got a big time producer repackaged him and ditched this three piece. He never looked back. I miss this hungry era of Joe, even though he and his bank account don't. If you could do one more from this concert please do "Pain And Sorrow" it is so badass!!!!!!!!!!!!

At this same concert he also covered 2 songs by Yes, and one by Jethro Tull. There is a short video featuring him on a segment of the TV show Real Life With Jane Pauley when he was 13 years old.

Nice reaction. This one is kinda jazzy, he is young here. His more current stuff is more blues and is better if you can believe that. He also plays well with others, like Beth Hart, Jimmy Barnes and many more.

He's done a small blues cover of heart of the sunrise and wurm from starship trooper from the same concert. Worth a listen.
