TGJ has a lineup that changes from time to time. The bassist on this song, Juna Serita, has been dubbed The Princess of Funk cuz damn!

Your videos pop up in my you tube everyday. It might have to do with how often you tune in, which for me is every day. Shamisen is the instrument and I believe is the English spelling

I lived in Japan for a year from 71-72 ans must say I had tthe time of my life there even though I was in the Marines :) I was shocked when a woman came into the bathroom at a bar when I first got there. It was a totally different world Id love to go back. So much good music coming from Japan these days.

Been following Juna for a while What a great bass player Shes now in a band with Senri kawaguchi and together their hard to beat but Tokyo Groove is also an incredible band. Ive had a few people react to this

Windshield Ice scraper pick? That's a new one. I use an ice scraper to scrape my stainless steel pans before steel wool but that's nowhere near as original
