Very good and detailed review (and a great touch of education on in ear practices) Some point to note - the option to run xlr extended close to you does not eliminate the wireless interference but only reduce. How much it reduces depends on the proximity from the Hotspots of wireless usage (router, handphones, Bluetooth, etc). As a sound guy I probably won't recommend that unless I am familiar with the location set up. That being said, I have heard of reviews where you don't have to be intentional and it is already quite robust. Some product with similar frequency operation, despite the extender, can't do the same as this Xvive. So I would say this product has already catered for EM interference. Secondly, understood that this is mono, but how is the dynamic range like? Does it have compressing effect once it hits a limit? I have not heard on this from any reviews so far (perhaps my outreach is narrow but something that I'm curious about myself).

As for your question, I don't have any accurate way to measure but so far pushing it to the extreme "unlistenable" volumes doesn't have any discernible compression or clipping to my ears at least, the volume scaling from soft to loud feels smooth throughout.

Depends on your/your band's setup! It could be from a laptop or phone or interface or mixing board depending on the situation. If you're just practicing on your own, the easiest way is to use a phone app but you also probably won't need a wireless pack for that 😁 hope that helps!

It depends on the performance in question! If there's tracks running, then it's a necessity.

I know you charge it turned off big but how do you know when its charged?

There are red indicator lights that come on when it's charging, once it's full the lights turn off!
