O mind revere the lotus feet of Shri Ram, meditate on the pleasing feet of Shri Ram. 1. Jinhe' charanan se, nikasī Sur-sarī (Gangā), Shankar jatā samāī. (2) Jatāshankarī nām pāṛyo' hai (2), (ab) tribhuvan tāran āī (2).(Refrain) From these feet the river of the gods (Ganges) originated & runs through the tresses of Lord Shankar. He is therefore called Jatashankari, this liberator of all three worlds. 2. Jin charanan kī, (ab) charan pādukā, Bharat rahyo lav lāī. (2) Soī charan kevat dhoī linhe (2), (ab) tab Hari nāv chaṛhāī (2). (Ref) The sandals adorning these feet were placed by Bharat on his head - and these same feet were washed by the boatman before he allowed the Lord to embark on his boat. 3. Dandakvan Prabhu, pāvan kinhī, rishiyan trās mitāī. (2) Soī charan Gautam Rishi nārī (2), (ab) parasī param pad pāī(2).(Ref) This Lord purified the Dandakwan Forest from the asuras & in this way he delivered the saints from their suffering. Ahalya (the wife of the sage Gautam) was forgiven & brought back to life (after becoming stone) by the mere touch of these same feet. 4. Joī charan santan, jan sevat sadā, rahat sukhadāī. (2) Soī Prabhu trilok ke svāmī (2), (ab) kanak mrigā sang dhāī (2).(Ref) These feet are served by the saints/sages and are always cherished by them. That very Lord, the master of three worlds, ran with (after) the golden deer. 5. Shiv Sankādik, aru Brahmādik, Shesh sahas mukh gāī. (2) Tulsīdās Mā-rut sut kī Prabhu (2), (ab) nij mukh karat badhāī (2).(Ref) Lord Shiva, sage Sanka, Lord Brahma, Shesh (king of serpents), and others sing of His glories by the thousands. Tulsidas says that very Lord praises (Hanuman) the son of Maruti, from His own mouth. 6. O Rām, Bhaj Rām, Sīyā Rām, Jai jai Rām (2). Bhajuman Rām charan sukhadāī (2). Rām charan sukhadāī, Rām charan sukhadāī. Bhajuman Rām charan sukhadāī (3). .
