Hi there , did you feedback to Ujam team your list of your improvements
@SecondTierSound

Yes, I did in fact. I also did feedback on their latest piano plugin, which I chose not to cover on my channel. I'm not sure they are listening. But they said they will take it into consideration. Cheers!

Would you recommend the spitfire Hans zimmer percussion over this?
@SecondTierSound

They are very different libraries. It really depends what you are after, and workflow. But I would say spitfire is a higher tier in general

So everyone will use the same thing, won't that create issues related to copyright?
@SecondTierSound
@SecondTierSound Жыл бұрын
I see one can think that would be the case, but no production company will accept music that isn't original. You can use presets and samples, but the whole song is still a unique composition in terms of sound, chords, rhythm, bpm, structure, dynamics, melodies, and instrumentation

@@SecondTierSound You are right sir ,But do you know it will not be accepted by the youtube Content ID system that means if someone copies your music you won't be able to track it down or monetize that video. You can read that on websites also , I'm really confused about this. According to what websites say that means no matter any sample you use whether it's paid or free can't be used. That raises concerns ,that if this is an issue why they sell loops anyway ?
@SecondTierSound
@SecondTierSound Жыл бұрын
In order to use the id system you have to copyright your music through a production house. You have to provide the stems and prove your work. And they won't accept just a premade sample, or preset. They actually can't, because sample companies have made sure their samples/instruments are free to use and cannot be claimed in their original state. Otherwise that would be like owning the rights to the color blue. It is what you do with the color blue that is the artistry, that can be executed and claimed. It happened to me once when I showcased a sample: some idiot claimed it, but it was easy to win because the sample company clearly states it is free. Do don't worry, it won't happened. If the music made is identical to an original composition, not a preset (which isn't composition) there can be a claim. You cannot claim a preset

@@SecondTierSound Got it sir, It means all samples are filtered out from the Content ID system. Also if someone claims for the loops you are free to prove it and claim your track back, by showing genuine samples. Thanks a lot for clearing my doubts. I was really confused whether it's good to use samples or not.

@@3d8d sucks big time as sampled music is often the most interesting music, just a shame that poor people who cant afford to clear samples (the ones making the best music) wont even get a chance to be heard,, gotta love the jewish lawyers who represent the gentrifiers of music culture
