Awesome! Need to tune my Toms like this. Fun fact: Tré Cool's Live Drum Kit has 15 Drum Mics in and around it. One for each Tom, two for Snare/Bass Drum, each Cymbal has it's own small mounted Mic, and usually 1-2 overheads.

Thats where im having trouble is the source sound is low. Its hard to get volume without peaking problems

If it sounds good, it is good. Mix with your ears, not your eyes. Analog PlugIns often need pushed to emulate the harmonic Distortion the original equipment would have produced at the same “visual” appearance.

i would have liked to hear it in the context of the song because he always went on about how much it fits the song but we didn't hear it. i found that reverb very unnatural sounding. that doesn't mean it doesn't fit the song, maybe it does. but then we not prove it while you're at it?
