Drums & Percussion - Mix Breakdown with Alex Solano

In the latest episode of the 'Mix Breakdown' series, Alex Solano will now show us how he's using the Antelope Audio FX to achieve his enviable drum sound. Enjoy the tips and tricks!
With the goal not to reinvent the already neatly sounding drums Alex Solano starts with a drums chain that will help him transparently polish the sound. His weapons of choice are the VEQ-1A for a good low and mid range boost, the VEQ-4K Brown for adding a touch of extra lushness to the highs and of course the Impresser to give the kick a well-desired analog punch.

Hi Alex, I know it has been a long time since you made this video and maybe this interface equipment is no longer the one you are currently using but to take advantage of the knowledge you have about it in some way, I would like to ask you if it is possible to insert these antelope fpga effects zen tour in my daw the fl studio I would like to return the audio signal of my mixer channels to pass through the plugins of the antelope and bring the signal back to record them already modified I do not know if you understand me, I see it difficult I know that everything is in the famous control panel but I've been trying for weeks and I can't hear anything anymore with the effects that I have put in the antelope but I can't record those modified sounds to my fl studio and another question can be made summing box with the antelope buy a cable DB25 and plugged it into the spdif input on the back of the antelope and with its XLR cable on the back of the antelope preamps, I heard that you could use the good analog circuits you have.
