Great Instructional Video! TIP: Click the two squares at the top right-hand corner of the tab to open Tracker in a new window. This will make it much easier for you to change drum samples and use the mixer since you won't have to navigate back and forth between the tabs.

I used this feature a lot. But, let's say, I don't want to convert them into midi, just want to save what I'm hearing ( like the blend of my tracks + sup drummer sounds ), directly to wav tracks so I can work with them inside my DAW? Couldn't figure out this one 😮

Very grateful to see this video, thank you! Did you record this original drum audio with a hihat mic and ride mic in addition to overheads? Ideally, do you recommend a mic on every drum and cymbal if possible?

Yeah, I'd recommend separate mics on both the ride and hihat - certainly if you know there's a chance you will want to replace everything. I will normally do that myself these days, as those can be a pain to separate out from the main overhead tracks. This does really save a lot of time. Don't think I've ever close miced other cymbals. Usually crashes, splashes and chinas are fairly easy to convert from a stereo overhead track.

Good video-:) So after I converted to midi I dragged it to that bottom part of SD3,where it says drag block, and there I play it with my song but it is very quiet. I do not know what I am doing wrong.

Hi there! Hmm...not sure what could be wrong. Only thing I can think of is maybe the other tracks in your session are really loud in comparison? Usually I never have problems with output from SD3, but I tend to record other instruments pretty low (averaging about -15 dB or something like that). Hope that helps.

@@KennethACrashwaggonMusic Yes this extremely annoying, as it slows down my work flow. It doesn't make sense. When I am in the tracker tab of course I hear the drums just fine with my song. I wonder if I am not processing it in tracker correctly. After I drag my midi drum item to my DAW or at the bottom part of SD3, I can see in the drum tab the drum kit is playing but the sound is low and it sounds not like the drum patterns the drummer was playing. I can not find any answers from searching the net yet. Thanks for trying to help-:)
