I remember seeing this a year or two ago thinking this was impossible, and now I can do these tricks naturally without even practicing.

I remember when I saw KoRn with their new drummer for the first time. He threw the stick literally 10 meters into the air and caught it in time, putting it straight back into a cymbal hit. Like WTF.

@3:53 saw Drayven Davidson do something like that when talking about what he does around the kit. I try it too and it's so much fun🤘🏼

You'd hate listening to 311, Primus, Joey-era Slipknot and 80% of funk bands from the sound of it. And yeah I know, your comment was 2 years ago but man there's a huge difference between an open-sounding snare and a snare tuned high with the snare wires not even screwed on the drum

There is an old viral video of a drummer in a cover band playing sharp dressed man and going absolutely insane with non-stop stick tricks. The video is called "this drummer is at the wrong gig"

HOW DOES HE DO THAT?? 4:16
@bell32874 жыл бұрын
I can try to explain it. First hold your stick in between your index and middle fingers. Close your hand and when you hit the cymbal twirl your wrist and hand while opening it backwards. While in this motion close your hand when your about to hit the drum. I'm sorry if this doesn't help but if you know the fake twirl trick (putting a stick in between your index and middle fingers and moving them back and forth and while sorta moving your hand in a circular motion) think of that but do it forward and close your palm before hitting the cymbal.
