He is my kind of drummer. Incredible groove, feel and dynamics! It's all about the song! Personally I'm not impressed with blast beats and double kick players...but it's horses for courses. Great video thanks!

I’m just learning and wondering what I need to change to stop the back end of the stick from hitting my right inner forearm near the wrist but the inner forearm as I play. What do I need to modify? It happens sometimes and im guessing I need to address it somehow with a technique.

The only heavy band that doesn’t need double kick for any song. Beside pre 2000s music they put out which was like deathcore haha

Good tip to really lock that left hand in is to put a metronome on and isolate the left hand (play the left hand notes only) like he does in the one section, and listen how the beat will fit within the metronome groove

I bought these with high hopes after Tama's quick clamps failed. Nope! They flew off in the first concert!!! And no, I wasn't even bashing. I'm playing in a country /folk band with a hybrid cajon set up, a splash and a crash cymbal. I hit the cymbals medium hard during a song finally, one Pinch Clip flew over my head, the other went halfway up the threads. This bothers me because they are steel, meaning they will chew up and destroy the threads on the cymbal stands, and that is not a quick or cheap fix. The only plus is that I bought the red color, so I could find it on the floor to return it for a refund.

It is wild. Placement… no sloppy sorta got it, vibe. Hear the rhythm you wanna play in your head, then get the dynamics right on every percussive instrument you strike. Mouth the rhythm while you play it “kinda like beat boxing” …Playing MUSIC on the DRUMS!
