In my opinion, the EAD10 is just like one of best things that 'happened to' hybrid sets. It's just amazing!

Have you ever done a video on getting the best from the ead 10 with mesh, low vol and dt50s/k triggers? Would love a tutorial as I’m not sure if I have mine setup as good as it could be! Any pro tips would be welcome! Drumming is fantastic in all your videos! Cheers

I wonder how does that kit perform in a live scenario.. with guitars, bass and vocals all together.. Been eyeing those cymbals for a while and this kit size would be ideal for portability!!

Hey Pietro, you can combine Agean low noise cymbals with any acoustic / half acoustic setup and either mic them up with a pair of overhead mics or use something like the Yamaha EAD10 & bass drum sensor (which works as a stereo mic & kick trigger actually). Please don't hesitate to get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for further assistance if you like. Kind regards!

Hey Ralf, is that rim rubber by pintech? Or does drumtec have their own? Was looking for this kind of setup where the side mounted triggers go right on the rubber.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of a hybrid vs a full electronic set? Any inputs and / or links would be very helpful. Thanks!
@drumtecTV Жыл бұрын
Hybrid will be louder :) yet acoustic low noise cymbals will offer a different playing feel & offer nuances (like striking in various areas) that an electronic cymbal won't have. Yet, sound fleixibility is also much bigger with the electronic cymbals. You can find a noise level comparison as well as several sound demos of various low volume cymbals here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/ZqTEYmOLftJ4iq8 kzbin.info/www/bejne/bYuXlJeBYpaKq80 kzbin.info/www/bejne/eJXOhZ53lKx-l5Y Feel free to get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for further assistance if you like. Thank you Drumtec for this lovely demo! If I understand correctly, the kick trigger of the EAD10 does not trigger mesh heads. How did you get it to trigger the kick drum with the mesh head? Also, did you use the built in sounds of the EAD10? And if yes, what dit you use because it sounded quite pleasant and natural.

Hi, I'm using 18x12 bass drum of Club Jam with standard head, set of mapex toms (8,10 ,12, 14) with two-ply mesh heads and Zildjian L80. This is very balanced set. Mesh head od this bass drum is way too quiet and reacts strange.
@pjdrummer1984 Жыл бұрын
How did you get the EAD 10 trigger to work on a mesh head? I can’t get mine to work unless I change the settings to fix curve and with my Tom being mounted on my bass, drum and triggers to kick as well.
@faisalrahman3671 Жыл бұрын
Did you put mesh head on the Bass Drum also? Or just the snare and toms?
@lycanthropy889 ай бұрын
I see that you use mesh heads. Do you need the triggers because of that ? If there are no triggers it sounds worse with mesh heads compared to regular drumheads? Thanks !

It is great. I am thinking to turn into my clubjam fully with yamaha ead by using silent drum head is that possible? And also how did you record the cymbals with ead triggers? Should I buy overhead mics. for cymbals or the mic on the kick can take the cymbals?
@drumtecTV2 жыл бұрын
Hey Burak, please get in touch through experts@drum-tec.de for further advice on the kit setup if you like. The intro passage of the video shows the overhead sound of the kit, while the groove/performance passages were recorded staright from the EAD module (Stereo out). The kick sensor works as a stereo mic & a bd trigger at the same time, so in this setup you wouldn't need any additional microphones. Kind regards!
