The first game they won on E-district was when timmy said to play for a spot that dezign kept saying "I don't think this spot is good" and they won from that spot. He relies on mechanical advantage in 3v3s, doesn't setup before fights, and the worst of all he doesn't know the best places to play in a LAN environment. Madness broke it down perfectly before. 100T were getting absolutely shit on up until Dezign started calling in the last few rounds and got their only points. Timmy is an insane Fragger but he is a horrible IGL with bad plays. That's why Waltzy was about to drop him from Moist if he didn't go to Falcons, he's calls were just not good. And when your source of income is literally competitive apex, you don't want to keep testing the waters only to fail again and again. This is not just a game they play for fun.

a lot of scrims leading up to lan gen in visa jail, dez and timmy countercalling micro in the game then blowing up at each other when it goes wrong. it always came to a point where dez would say well if you followed my call we'd have won. and dez's attitude towards calling out his seriousness in scrims althought i know this has gotten better with time. zachs so right. It doesn't matter if timmy was making the worst calls or the best when the igl says to do something you do it and without hesitation. If that consistently fails then you reassess. The amount of times timmy made game winning calls, dezign ignored them and/or did his own thing or argued enough to hold their rotate up a couple of seconds means we really don't know if timmy can igl or not. All we know for sure is dezign is a terrible teammate. You can suggest rotates or plays when you have the time and space to discuss but once the igl makes the call right or wrong you shut up and follow. Hal is a great example of this in action. He's made several endgame calls that in retrospect were better than zeros but whenever zero decides, regardless of the decision, hal follows that call to the letter.

Brother, Timmy wasn't making any game winning calls at LAN. That's why he inevitably had to give up IGL-ing to Dezign in the last 2 games, and he almost brought them to a qualifiying spot. It was a stupid idea to have Timmy learn IGL-role within a few months of practise instead of just letting Dezign learn zone-playstyle.

Timmy made a lot of game winning calls at lan too, dezign was just too split and argumentative to resolve the call in time for it to work. Timmy navigates fights incredibly well and really makes the best of openings but he's often alone when he makes plays because his team are so far behind when they really have no reason to be. Dezign makes incredibly safe calls he does things well enough to get by (just) but he isn't willing to take the risks needed to win. Again I can use hal as an example. He valk ulted to god spot in zone 5 to win year 3. Timmy makes calls like that. Calls that are time sensitive and make or break games. Dezign walks in slowly. He doesn't take risks and so fails to make waves. He rarely goes out early but on the flip side he's rarely in the endgame. Timmy has the potential to excel but he's never been given the chance. There was a game in scrims with falcons, 100t and a third I don't recall. Timmys call was going to win the game. Pretty much guaranteed and uncontested, dezign argued, used the wrong ability got timmy knocked and made them the weakest positioned team. He does this all the time. I've watched them extensively and dezign is the cause of almost all the early exits by being late, out of position, putting out bad damage in team fights and being a completely useless Newcastle. Maybe timmy would have done poorly regardless but dezigns lack of trust made timmys calls less potent and that made timmy doubt himself. Dezign has been a cancer to pretty much every team he's joined. His skills are sorely lacking as a player let alone an igl and his input has not helped 100t at any point. I'd also be shocked if gen actually thinks any of the shit dezign is claiming.

It's insane how much revisionism is going on here. I can call everything a "potentially game winning call" when it doesn't end up working out. Fact is, a lot of Timmy's ideas on how to play the game did not translate to LAN at all and Dezign recognized that. Yes, he was countercalling for quite some time during scrims, but it wasn't the reason they failed to qual for Finals on LAN from what I've seen. Being able to adapt to a LAN environment where teams play a lot safer and everyone is on same ping isn't a skill everyone has, but Dezign definitely does. He was also the best looking member on EWC, being able to get solo squad-wipes and stuff. They shouldve just let him take over for Loser's bracket instead of keeping Timmy at the helm, cause clearly Timmy's nerves got to him.

You can two shot red armor consistently with the PK. Top that with how Red Armor is going to be more rare because it's locked behind Red Helmets and you'll get a dead game within the first week. Getting a body shot with a Mastiff is now equal to getting ALL-HEADSHOTS with a mastiff vs a blue helmet in season 23. They already needed to nerf nockdowns..but they buffed them instead? Just make it so you can walk through knockdowns and they would be perfectly balanced. The only issue rn is that you have no way to fight someone close range who is in a knockdown, but if you could walk through knocks, you could kill nocks easily if you are on them and you can't slam people if you have a nock and they don't. Knocks are fine long range, but close they are dirty.

Not a baldy fan (I’m definitely a Dezign fan) but Mazer cooked here. All the griping and drama is old. He was in full on tears when Timmy went to Moist. He went into this lan super rusty and playing 50+ hours of Marvel a week. Not to mention the sleeping in and missing scrims. As a fan of his, I have to be objective and it’s just behavior you can’t defend.

It just confuses and disorganizes. If you are a soldier, you have your soldier duties. If your a sergant ypu have sergant duties. Commander, commander duties. But if you sign up to be a soldier and then argue with the commander about everything he says, it makes no sense. The commander cannot focus on hes job, because he has to extra explain to someone why is he doing what. And the soldiet aswell is missing out on hes duties because he ia focused on counter callin commanders calls, instead of DOING HES JOB BEING A SOLDIER!!! and its not about Timmy being good or bad IGL. We didnt even see where it would have went because Design just wasnt focused on being in hes role!!!... They did well in scrims. Its when they had a coach. And it made Design shut up finaly! And they did well. And in finals he started hea thing again!!! So, bad calla or not from Timmy. I think the failure resta on Designs shoulders because he just wasnt focused on hes role. And yea, Timmys calls can be waaaaaay out there, like three steps ahead, and he doesnt correctly see or communicate the first step. Thats actualy possible. And yes i agree, all 3 are teammates, and you should listen to them, in general. But it is also about roles, And function. IGL can keep all the macros in hes head, so others dont have to, where the teams are, what could be a good play here, how much time we have, and so on. And others can focus on just plays, and poking others, making some openings. They dont have to keep all that stuff about all the teams in theyr head!!! thats the point. Thats why IGLs usualy anchor. Because its an easyer role, so you have space and time to think. And thats where Design realy fails, he still was holding all the IGLs ideas in hes head, instead of just feeding info to Timmy so he can think about it. He kinda was doubling IGLs job. Wich is unnecesary! He was supposed to just focus on hes role! Wich was NOT IGL ING!!! that is just pure ego from Design, to not just let go the IGL. Focus on YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES! So team can function properly! And sure any teammate can make a call at some point. If they see a good opportunity! Of course! But you have to give space to igl to do its thing. After that the team just fell apart because Dezign couldn't let go of wraith despite how bad of a pick she was
