no it's not, if you watch the first season of the simpsons homer's voice is slightly different, Dan saw this Homer character and wanted to sorta do a Walter Matthow (idk how to spell his last name) impression but it got to hard for him because of how homer always screams and cries etc, so Dan found a place further down in the throat to make the voice of Homer we all know and love today. But yeah if Dan went around doing comedy stand up with not just homer but other simpsons characters that he plays that would be amazing. Maybe when the simpsons eventually goes off the air aha
