Drunk Driver Smashes into Police Cars

Around 11:00pm Jan 24 Coquitlam RCMP were involved in an incident where a white pick up truck rammed multiple Police vehicles. The driver then attempted to flee but was taken into custody at Whiting Way & Ebert Ave. The white pick up truck showed signs of damage to the drivers side window which makes me believe that the police used their batons to break open the window in order to get the driver out and that is what people thought the gunshot noises came from.
