That's was an amazing recreation! wow, cannot believe I haven't seen this yet, thought I'd seen all Jordan & Peele content, not sure how this one snuck by me. That was just James being who he is, answering every question with a song title, high af, and hitting on the interviewer while on TV, and out on bail(or "out on love" as he calls it, lol) for abusing his wife, and yeah I'm pretty sure he was a different person at home. Dude was legend, and from a different time/space than the rest of us. He had an image to uphold, and nothing was going to stop that.
