Happy weekend! In today's video Shifu Yan Xin shares with you how the Butterfly Kick is used in our Drunken Master | Fist course and it's applications, hope you enjoy training. We were really lucky to have caught the rainbow in the backdrop and it lasted all the way through filming the tutorial, and went as we finished filming, how amazing was that!

Practice hard and you will find beauty all around you. Thank you so much Shifu, and to your family and neighbors who helped make the video! I really like this method of learning butterfly kick, I have yet to complete it myself. I love to see Shifu so excited to teach drunken fist, I am also excited with each new upload! Thank you! 謝謝!

Hey man!! I am studying your drunken fist!! I am working on Part 1 and part 3. I can't really do part two right now because I'm a big guy 315 lb but on top of that I am very mobile and active. Have you ever heard of the mortal Kombat character named Bo' Rai Cho?? He's a character I wish to play one day as an actor. I do a lot of cardio and I'm working out a lot but I've always been a big guy but I'm working on dropping at least another 50 lb so after my workout for fun I'm going to be studying your drunken master techniques.

Keep trying! Shifu's movements are so fluid because of years of training. If everybody could do it, it wouldn't look impressive. (When was the last time you were impressed with someone's technical skill in walking?) New techniques will similarly take time and patience. Weeks, months, years. Practice and when you're tired, take a break! Return to it later. But DON'T give up. The techniques will always be there for you to practice and perfect, just show the moves the proper respect and time and effort and then one day they will start working for you.
