Thank you for explaining these chiropractic adjustments .. you present information clearly and concisely. I am more and more convinced that corrective chiropractic adjustment would help my lower back pain, as 8 weeks of physical therapy have only minimally helped. The physical therapy by itself is not correcting the root of the problem in my lower back. Love your videos!

Hi Dr Salubro, I have really bad lower back pain starting at my tail bone going down my right leg and into my foot. I have been to two physios which hasnt helped unfortunately and also had a spinal cortisone injection which brought no relief. I have had an MRI scan and this is what it said : Pertinent finding is of a right paracentral disc protrusion at L5-S1, which is impinging on the origin of the right S1 nerve root. Central anulus tear and minimal associated disc bulging at L4-5 without neural impingement. I was wondering if you think that a chiropractor would help with this? I am in agony every day and am desperate.

I normally do 1 thrust and then 3 and then 1 again. I like prime numbers and so do my patients. They also like that the total amount of adjustments is 5, and you guessed it, a prime number once again!

Hello Justin. Unfortunately it is not possible for me to diagnose you or give any prognosis without an examination and full clinical workup. I hope you can appreciate this. If you haven't already, get assessed by a neurologist.

@@DrWalterSalubro wow thank you doctor, my uncle works with a neurologist and a nuro surgeon, as soon as the podiatrist sent me the referral I got an appointment it may take a month or so though, I am getting stronger and the pain is moving up although it’s still on the foot all over. I would love to see you. My foot drop has got a lot better considering I can walk pretty alright of course with a limp and it feels like my hip is out of place and my knee from the odd movement of me walking . I’m going really hard at it doing so many pt exercises from a variety of different doctors including yours which I can really tell a huge difference in my walk so I take back that it’s not getting better maybe it’s just the severe nerve pain in my foot that’s makes me thing I’m not getting better and it last all day I do get relief at times when I do the correct pt stretching. I believe mine with subside in the next year but it’s still a scary thought to think of permanent nerve damage even if someone were to have this case hypothetically would the actual nerve pain if not the walking ability get better with time or could it always be the same chronic pain for ever ? Thank you so much doctor ,people like you are the ones who change lives and get greatly comped for it as you should :) especially one who takes time to give any feedback I really appreciate you !

Justin, hang in there. Nerve related problem can take more time to heal and improve. Without a full clinical workup, it is not possible for me to give any recommendation or prognosis. If you want to consider a spinal assessment from a corrective chiropractor, check out this director of Chiropractic BioPhysics trained and certified docs. Look for one that is certified. At www.idealspine.com/directory. good luck!!

Have you ever come across a very enlarged, bony sacrum? I'm still trying to find answers.

Hi. I have a cracked sacrum. Happened 12 week's ago. Very painful when I walk. On Advil and Tylenol all day. How long will this cracked sacrum take to heal 100%. I believe it's not a bad fracture. I have the CT scan and MRI if you are interested in reading it. Thank you!

Sorry to hear this and wish you quick recovery. I can not provide remote consultations on your CT and MRI. Non complicated sacrum I would expect a good 12 weeks to heal. Bone can continue to remodel even up to 12 months. Best that you discuss with your orthopedic surgeon or fracture doctor about your prognosis based on your specific situation. Good luck.

@@DrWalterSalubro unfortunately my orthopedic surgeon Dr Ayers at South shore orthopedics only does joint surgery. Hips and knees and shoulders. I need to find a surgeon that does this sacroplastry arthroscopic surgery if that is what I need or not. Its been 12 weeks so far and still in alot of pain. The verbiage of my CT scan is -- 1-acute / subacute left L5 transverse fracture. 2.acute subacute sacral insufficiency fractures with transverse components through likely S2 and S3 vertebrae and vertical components through the bilateral sacral ala. 3-Stable chronic mild left of midline L5 vertebral body height loss. 4-Multilevel spondylosis with neural foraminal compromise at multiple levels as detailed above 5- Mild bilateral SI DJD No one has explained this to me yet. In the process of getting a surgeon at Beth Israel hospital in Boston to look at all of my notes from the MRI and CT scan and bone scan I had. What kind of doctor surgeon does sacroplastry? What is that surgeon called? What department is that? Thank you
