Just got my MRI done last week. i have a small herniation at L4/L5 and a large on at L5/S1 which is pressing into my nerves and causing bad left side sciatic pain down my left leg. I have been dealing with this for 8 months now. I saw 3 Chiropractors that was just guessing at my issue and no help and would not refer me for an MRI. I found a 4th guy that came highly recommended. After an exam he referred me to an upright MRI. Due to an earlier xray I had we suspected the lower 2 levels had an issue. He put me on the DRX for a test session and I saw relief after one session. That was a few weeks ago and he wanted to wait to see what the real issue was after MRI so hopefully I will be starting treatment end of this week or early next week.

The DRX9000 is excellent for herniated disc treatment because patient it takes time

How do you determine the pounds of pressure you set on the decompression table? I've started treatments and my doctor's starting pressure was 120 lbs. and he has raised it 2 times to 130! Yet everything I'm seeing on traction and decompression tutorials shows that the poundage of vacuum pressure should start treatment at 50 lbs,, and progress to up to 50% of the patient's body weight! I currently weigh about 230 lbs and a 6' 2" tall man. Where would you start me on this machine? Because after 3 treatments my overall pain is at least as bad as prior to starting, if not worse. The doctor has started with L5, my worst herniation area and plans to move up to L3 over time. Appreciate your advice as soon as possible; though my next treatment in 2 days I'm going to ask them to set the pressures down under 100 lbs; maybe 80? Thanks again for this video!

I generally start at 40% And build from there. Usually by 10th visit 50% of body weight however every case is different

Thanks for the video. -Can this hurt your back? -Does the patient experience soreness or slight pain afterward?

What other service do you offer for Subluxation, Herniated Dics, & Sciatic cronic/severe pain, that's not the Ring dinger, Y strap, or the Drx9000? Thanks.

We also offer the Cox technique which is a form of manual traction very slow and controlled.

Do you need an MRI to start this type of therapy?

It’s helps to pinpoint the disc level to treat

This DRX9000 treatment is a total scam. After roughly 13 decompression treatments, my two lumbar disc protrusions never went back in place, nor did they decrease in size. They are still there, protruding into the spinal canal. If DRX9000 was truly a solution, it'd be already in every spinal clinic all over the country and coverable by insurance. In my opinion, if you are looking for a true spinal disc decompression treatment that gives 100% results, you should go for a nucleoplasty procedure, which is minimally-invasive and only takes 45 min.

And what happens with the Ring Dinger??
@drstevensho-chiropractor-nyc2 жыл бұрын
I still do it everyday. We offer multiple services. Some patients prefer the Ring Dinger and some seek out the computerized decompression.

Yes

When it unloads a specific disc ex: l4 or l5 does it then put more pressure on other discs
