Check out the late Anna Wildsmith and her band Sow. Her stuff is kinda hard to find on streaming services. Check out The World Is My Oyster for more of that sardonic deadpan accented and buttery voice.

..reminds me of the concept rapping. Her voice is not so harmonic, (one has potential) her grunge voice intertwines with the rhythm and melody of the instruments. Also reminds of Jim Morrison, voicing his poems in between the song.(like in Riders in the storm) I Definitely hear some Sonic youth influences here. Kinda love it.

I am 42 and I just found them this afternoon. The clip to Scratchcard Lanyard is amazing. Fiona is such a wonderful unpretentious lyricist. So loose. So damn cool. Another genre, but check out 'Lusine' too. 'They' did a set here too from 'Sensorimotor'.

Innovative guitar playing, reminds me somewhat of John McGeoch in the early 80s, I saw dry cleaning by accident when supporting bodega at Norwich arts centre in March 2019 , songs sounding great
