Just a suggestion but could the USS Wisconsin be added to the U.S. as a super battleship? Japan, U.S.S.R., Germany, U.K., and France all have super battleships. If it was to be added please don't lock it behind a DLC or Premium Ships,add it to the Tech tree. I know people have been asking for this for years, and it would be nice to have her in the game.

Warspite still needs a full Naval Legends episode. The things she has done, from being the first ship-launched plane to sink a U-boat to the ship who sank 3 tugboats on her way to being scrapped.

On tow to the scrap yards, she made a final bid to escape, broke her cables and became stuck on the Cornish Coast. Ship with a Glorious record.

My great grandfather served on her after getting transferred from Prince of Wales, after the battle of the Denmark strait, served on her till the end of the war. The greatest tragedy was this ship was never kept as a museum ship.

Little detail missed, Warspite helped during the D-day firing so many shells that her guns we're almost damaged due heat caused for so many shots. Being the battleship that fire her main guns the most in the entire war.

She had fired more than 300 shells during those 2 days, almost completely expending her magazines.

Made a mistake 3:38 during the battle of Calabria Warspite scored a direct hit on Giulio Cesare from a range of 26,000 yards (14.773 miles). 4:05 And also the ship isn’t represented with radar equipment in the game like you said it is here

and during the same battle warspite received a 320 direct hit from cavour and staied disabled for months. british deleted the files aboit that and this hit was recently discovered by italian navy historians. of course it is complitelly ok if you avoid to let your enemy know if your ship are damanged during a battle, just thibk of the battle of pantelleria, how british did their best to cover their defeat. history after decades is a different matters, and it is ok for us to know what happened and how

She even tried to stop them from scraping her!

She facetanked the entire High Seas Fleet twice, first with her sisters, then later alone with a jammed rudder. Where Bismarck only faced half the Royal Navy, Warspite faced the entire High Seas Fleet (20 ships fired at her during her death spiral). She went into a narrow fjord against 8 destroyers and 2 submarines and somehow didn't sink, and somehow her spotter plane sunk a submarine before any real carrier did. She was the only operationally ready battleship in the entire Pacific theatre from 1-11 January 1942. She was the first ship to bring the horrors of war to America when she turned up at Bremerton in 11 August 1941. She was the only AA battery on the American West Coast during the attack on Pearl Harbor. She had a habit of breaking free of tugboats and going wherever she wanted. Uncrewed. She rammed 2 of her sisters. At Normandy the paratroopers phoned her to please bombard the 12 SS Panzer Division and she turned them into shambles. And that's not even half of what this old lady had done. (Her successor, a nuclear sub, also rammed a Soviet nuclear sub and had the entire Soviet Navy activated to hunt her but couldn't find her, almost blew up her own reactor with a fire, and had another world record of longest underwater patrol.)

If the Warspite was documented to have struck an enemy BB at a range of 24 kms, why does she only have a main battery range of ONLY 16.3 kms in the game?

Well, she does get Spotting Aircraft to push that range out a little more, but certainly not to 24 kms

Becuase unlike the USA the UK was virtually bankcrupt after WW2. It's a pity nobody could think of a way to save her. There was no patreon back then.

You say that, but by 1945 the Grand Old Lady was barely holding together; all the wartime damage had taken it's toll and she was only being held together by rust, birdcrap, and patchwork repairs- among other things, she'd had a 20-foot wide hole blown right through the bottom of her hull by a Fritz-X glide-bomb, her X Turret was permanently jammed and inoperable, she was down to three shafts and could only make 15 knots.

@@kristelvidhi5038 Ha! That was exactly the movie I had in mind. I sat through the whole thing thinking, "I want to like this, I want to like this" over and over again. There was a great Japanese movie that did MIdway very well, Isoroku Yamamoto, 2011. There are clips on KZbin of key scenes.

She was named by Queen Elizabeth after a victory of Sir Martin Frobisher against the Spanish Armada in 1588, but no suitable ship was ready to be named until 1596. "Thus, in war's spite and all the Spaniards' scoff, he brought both ship and soldiers bravely off." "War's spite indeed; and we to do him right, will call the ship he fought in the War's-spite." Source: "If You Know Not Me, You Know Nobody; or The Troubles of Queen Elizabeth", a play by Thomas Heywood, published in 1605 when the first Warspite was in service as the flagship of Sir Walter Raleigh. (Frobisher's ship was called Triumph, and it's bad luck to rename a ship, so the next new ship to be launched was named Warspite.)
