Nice vid! Definitely going to incorporate this in my dry routine. All in one session you train draw, grip, present, front sight focus, trigger control, malfunction clearing process, and mag changes. Small amount of steps, simple and effective. Glad I ran in to this one!

I'm always amazed at how high Jeff manages to get his finger up on the slide. My finger doesn't bend that far.

+Matthew Wilson You develop weird flexibility in that finger joint the more you do it.

Have you guys used the "tap rack training aid". Magazine inserts. So you can simulate loading and racking slide. I'd like to hear your thoughts, if so. Thanks.

I get different opinion on slide stop vs overhand rack.

steve fisher Some people say over hand rack is better than hitting the slide stop for various reasons.
@brucetuller9 жыл бұрын
+Manny Macfly The main benefit of the overhand is that it works on all semiautos. Where as the slide stop varies in size and location. So if you have to pick up a gun you are unfamiliar with you don't have to fiddle around with it looking for the slide release(instead of keeping your head up at the target) you just overhand rack it and do what needs to be done.

+Bruce Tuller and why is it a benefit? what variations in location and size? this is often advice from inexperienced shooters making excuses about there ability to problem solve and simply take 1 minute to work over the gun in hand

Why does Jeff have a Stainless barrel or a barrel with the finish removed :O? Curious to his thinking on it.
@Hypurman19 жыл бұрын
+DTKT Defensive Concepts It's probably an aftermarket barrel. They tend to be stainless.

Never Yank the magazine out. as the magazine is falling your support hand should already be moving toward your spare magazine.
