I have a Temple Fork 1wt and a 4 wt. The 1 wt is a dream. It casts beautifully with a 2wt line and will handle trout around 35cm, I love it. Great fishing there. :-)

I have a 1/2 wgt hi modulas graphite fly rod as well Robbie and it's my favourite fly rod I do have 3 heavier ones but I rarely use them my best fish to date was a 6 lb Rainbow in the dam at the farm I work at .

Days like this are why I ask about second guessing. 6 misses I would be questioning myself what if I used a spinner or a soft plastic. Maybe a small lure. Still good days in my book either way. Lovely stretch of water, lovely lot of fish.

Thanks mate. To be honest, I reckon I was about 1 missed fish away from packing it in. I was just getting to that really frustrated stage when I lost control. LOL Thankfully I was able to rein my patience back in a bit. There were a lot of pools that I could not cast into that were making me wish that I had taken my spinning rod. Haha
