fly fishin or regular fishin. who's the pertfect fisherman out there? who has the perfect cast? everytime? you guys criticize this man in his last video, who tune in to this one? to hate a little more. he's doing a fine job. he has good rod and reels. good flys. his own website to sell fishin items and demonstrate how to ty those nice flies that he shows you how he catches them. let's see if we can do better. i just hate a hater!!!!

Watched you fishing and catching and it's now made me feel worse that it's the close season and I can't get my rod out until next March! LOL Your water looks similar to parts of the Clyde that I fish. Great video. Tight lines for next year.

Whether it's a mend, slack line cast, pile cast etc a furled leader is no better than a tapered nylon cast. I am definitely not saying furled leaders are inferior, but struggle to see how they combat drag compared to nylon. Always ready to learn something new though.

How can a leader combat drag, if your cast is poor or a up stream wind has spoilt leader placement why would a furled leader help.

I'd like to know that too. I'm no expert but that looks like very even water, hence no drag. If its less even, you put a mend in, not change leader :/
