Nice!! I caught a couple cuttys and a few browns on that bionic ant just the other day. I wasn’t on the Provo though, I was a bit further south. I’ll have to try that oyster oil next time :)

New fly fisherman here. How do you know what flys to use? How do you know whats hatching?
@FlyFishFood5 жыл бұрын
Hey Logan, it's largely just observation to see what's going on in the water but it's also based on experience for a given river and given time of year. We need to do a video on that... 🤓🤔

What Knot did you tie at 7:35? I don't think I have ever seen a knot tied in that fashion before.

It's just the fast way to tie a clinch knot.
@williambyington48645 жыл бұрын
@@FlyFishFood That's what I thought. I have never seen one tied that way before. Is the clinch knot your regular go-to knot? I use it as well but friends have been switching to the Davy knot.
@FlyFishFood5 жыл бұрын
People tie the davy knot and claim that it's faster, but I can tie a clinch in under 3 seconds with this method ;) The clinch is plenty strong, so I see no reason to change it.

How did you avoid all the float tubers?
@FlyFishFood5 жыл бұрын
It’s actually pretty easy. We are going much slower with the oars. We let them go right on by. The fish don’t care at all that they are there.
