Great overview with some really nice pointers! Props to you for trying on so many things at once. I hate that part of the process. I bet you were warm by the end of it all. 🥵😁 I’ve never hear it referred to as a semi full dry top. We call them shorty dry tops. Anything “semi” means latex wrists and neoprene neck (i.e., it’s semi watertight). Obviously you can’t cover everything in such a short video, but one thing maybe worth adding on this subject is footwear, specifically that people may want to size up on whatever they plan to use with their dry suit to accommodate the suit’s bootie and heavy socks. 🧦 Great tip on having two suits as well. Not only nice for comfort of having a dry one, but can also come in handy if one needs repair, especially if you are road tripping.

Thanks man. Good tips on the footwear. I’ve heard so many terms used about the shortys. Everytime I say anything about shorty people assume it’s a paddling jacket. So I started saying semi full dry top! We need a universal language. Haha

What do you wear on your feet with your dry suit on?

Depending on the temperature I wear long cotton socks or upgrade to long wool socks. Then I wear astral rasslers for shoes.
