Been so damn long since I've listened to this band. And while my tastes have moved on, this band still has a special little place. Maybe its fueled by nostalgia, but I don't care. Also, ridiculously good live performance. Sounds so much like the album version.

Its only sad for them but good for them to have experienced it. I have still to this day not have had the pleasure to see them live... But I still blow up my car speakers to their amazing sound and I wreck my voice doing CAR-AOKE and having 1 man mosh pits in my car in rush hour traffic!! With us they will be forever!

Man, i love the Darker Side of Nonsense, but they must have used a SHIT ton of effects on his voice, because he cannot match those clean vocals.
@koettfaers4 жыл бұрын
His voice is good live, ofcourse there is effects used in the studio version, its obvious by simply listening to it
@c0pyimitati0n4 жыл бұрын
@@koettfaers lol but he's not even close here... He can't hit the cleans at all, his voice is so scratchy. I'm a firm believer of "if you can't do it live, don't do it at all."
@koettfaers4 жыл бұрын
@@c0pyimitati0n his voice are similar to the studio recording. The "clean" parts differ because its a fast tempo that switches between two voices, and the sound setup doesnt include any effects that was used in the recording. Its hard to sound exactly like the recording, and overall hes doing a great job. Personally I like their live perfomances better due to the more present emotions. Theres a difference between being "able to" and using particular effects in a recorded song to set a certain feeling and emotion to the song. You expect his voice when he sings "pain" to sound like in the studio album? Simply not possible without effects, and that is not due to any lack of vocal skills. He can hold a tune but its impossible to mimmick deep effects without them being used. Yes his voice differs abit but its not the major issue you make it out to be, and your not being honest with your claims. Paper tiger in this show is so brutal. Excellent performance
@koettfaers4 жыл бұрын
@@c0pyimitati0n however i do agree with you that artists should be able to perform their songs live. Rock music overall is the genre that stays true to this mindset. But many bands have some songs that they simply not perform live due to it being very hard to do so, although they would under right circumstances be able to do so. Sometimed its an age thing of them just being too old to be able to keep up. Dry kill logic isnt the most technically skilled band ofcourse, but I see no major issues with how they perform their songs live. Btw, approx 15 years ago since I listened to them, got a song stuck in my head two days ago and I knew it was "this" band but couldnt remember the band name. Took me hours to figure it out! Paper tiger is such an awesome song!
