You can tell he's always wanted to play this live otherwise he wouldn't have picked it when Matt said "What song would you teach someone trying to learn a Slipknot song" and then proceeds to pick one of THE hardest Slipknot songs to play. And I pretty much know how to play every Slipknot song ever (I have a cover of this song on my channel btw). Crossing my fingers that we get to hear this live one day!

I discovered Gematria back in high school and I've been obsessed with the guitar parts ever since. I always thought it was Slipknot's most underrated song. This is the recognition it deserves. This video is a dream come true for my younger self and my present one. Jim is such an inspiring artist.

Jim has always been my favorite guitarist in slipknot and outside of slipknot.. such a down to earth relatable guy. Jim inspired me to play the guitar and Joey inspired me to play the drums. This song reminds me of old school early 90s death metal when he plays those sick trill riffs.
