Dry Wood (1973)

Dry Wood features the music of "Bois Sec" (Dry Wood) Ardoin, his sons and Canray Fontenot. Theirs is an older, rural style of Cajun music, which, in the film, weaves together incidents in the lives of the Fontenot and Ardoin Families.

These times past should never be forgotten. This is the true meaning of the word family. People will never be able to get this back. It's our heritage and who we are and where we come from. I'm proud to live here in south central Louisiana ( Cajun country). This is an experience that you just can't get any where else. The culture, the lifestyle and the people.
