17 does drop the 7 material which is nice cause if you can only get to 17 solo , then just match-make on 17 and get the level 7 weapon buffs Way faster than solo

Farmed and built Ines, then ran through to level 20 with secret garden and the new beam for shields. You can stand out of line of sight with Ines and spam her 1 skill. The whole core system requires so much grind to even get the core, farming the abyss intercept is the major time sink. Honestly, I think there are only a few guns I am going to put cores on.

If you don't have a spuer strong descendant yet, check the resistance conditions of the enemies when clicking of the icon of the level. If they are resistant to fire, use ice damage. If they are resistant to toxin, use electric. etc. Use your evice to see their vulnerabilities. However the grind is insane for this.

The Arche shield indicator also tells you which faction you will be facing on that level Legion of Darkness, Legion of Imortality, and Order of Truth. The factions have different elemental weaknesses. I have been switching between Freyna, Viessa and Ines to match elemental strength with faction elemental weakness. I also made my Enduring Legacy such that I can swap the elemental damage module to match the weakness.

Once everyone unlocks stage 20 I imagine that will be where everyone does their farming. Which is why I think it's insanely stupid that matchmaking was not included for this final stage. I really hope the devs fix this as it gets really boring farming solo.

It's way easier to just clear these solo, the difficulty gets scaled way up with 4 players so farming would actually be harder.

Where as I understand the want for matchmaking, I matchmade with a bunny for a lvl 13 and it doubled health of enemys but that bunny was not built so I basically had to do double damage for both of us and even after that we went over the 5 minute mark so I had to redo it solo which I blasted through.

Yes it's an increase to your base sprint speed so any amount helps

You're not really going to want to grind out Erosion 20 a bunch of times. Early February they are dropping level 8 cores. So it's really a waste of time to grind out a bunch of 7s. I just did a few cores on my Cage for Bunny, but I'm not going to use any more cores because you'll have to use items to overwrite the core 7s with 8s.

17 had level 7 weapon cores and matchmaking. I ran it a lot tonight, some really good groups and some really bad. The "hide behind a wall" meta with Ines gets exposed in 4 player.

It'll be a waste of time doing level eight too thinking like that because then they will drop level nine or some other upgrade. That's just the way live service games are. If you're willing to play, grind it out and get your character as powerful as you can until the next update, then you have to do it all over again. Again, it's just the way live service games are. This is why I don't play very many live service games.Because it's a constant grind to keep your character at its highest. But it can be a good thing, because it always gives you something to grind for. The only problem is. There will become a time when you are over the game and uh, with this game. Unfortunately, they make the grind so huge, it's easily going to make most people. I hate the game, which is why they're player. Base it's so small. There's a fine line with a good time to grind. Or a tedious grind? And with the first descendant, it is mostly very, very tedious

@@RobK-rl6sn is there any evidence they plan to upgrade that again soon? this upgrade was too close together which they recognized by now allowing you to merge cores to upgrade them. due to that upgrade farming lower levels is now not a waste of time.

Incredibly easy and low cost to switch cores from 2-7. I don't see it as an issue. I just went as far as I could, upgraded. Ran a few 400s for the mats. No biggy, not much time sink. Waiting til you get to 7 to core the weapon is literally just making getting through 20 artificially difficult for no reason.

I've missed your videos but can see from your vids that POE2 is really fun! Starving for wep calcs now that they've buffed weapons and added the core options to weapons. Could I tap on your expertise in math for calculations to if the restored relic is now a usable weapon. I've loved the idea of homing missiles since I heard about it existing in the game. The restored relic can slot in 4 Fire Cores and has been buffed with a really high base fire dmg. If it is now a viable weapon, how would you recommend it be built? I'm currently thinking of going all in on fire mods but idk if leaning into crit would be worth it in any way.

I can beat the Defiler with bunny in <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="96">1:36</a>, but the absolute FASTEST I've beat Erosion 20 is right around <a href="#" class="seekto" data-time="360">6:00</a> with no deaths. Ines is WAY more powerful than Bunny in every way.

Idk. Don’t think you can complete void erosion with just anyone. I tried round 20 with Freyna, Viessa and Bunny which didn’t work out too well. Sharen or Ines are the only ones I know that are constant.

I can't even clear floor 2 with bunny because how hard the mobs hit, she just doesn't have the damage for it to be able to one shot anything other than trash mobs. And the corridors are super tight so you don't have much room to run around. And i really don't want to build Ines right now because i find it pointless building a normal descendant when ultimate will eventually come. I guess i could do it with Freyna probably but she's slow with movement so idk if i could get it done in time. I just hate when i have to go against a timer because i have to be sweaty which i hate, i want to chill and go at my own pace. This is why i stopped doing M+ in WoW for instance, i just hate that timer stuff so ultimately this content is probably not for me

I did have the same problem at the beginning with bunny and Freyna, but once I started with Ines, everything changed, now I'm farming level 20th.

You can do it with bunny, if she's squishy just change your build and incorporate your weapon into burning the elites down. Stay out of the way bunny has huge range you can proc her 3 behind cover, roll into wall to proc it again.

@winterknight419 they do, which would make it worse. Imagine queuing with a bunch of people expecting to be carried. Meaning you'll have to fight powered up enemies, with people who can't carry their weight. But if you're forced to solo some maps before hand, you atleast know that your teammates have the power to carry their own weight

I'm using Plasma Ball, and no, it takes longer than 2 hours to farm Ines. Let's be real. To be clear, I think this encounter is ridiculous, as usual. Players have to suffer for not having ppl to play with. If this game would set up Pantheons or Clans, at least we can have a group to work together for these encounters. Oh well, it's all about the grind then isn't it?

I got to 17 with Esiemo and Bunny. 17 is nice because it's matchmaking and the highest available weapon upgrade is on level 17-20 So either 20 or 17 have the same rewards 17 goes fast with a group

This, Void Abyss and Void Vessel are the MOST boring thing in the world. Dull, stupid repetative and unfun, and I mean UNFUN. The Abyss intercept is a literal crap shoot, too many tanks not enough DPS, all DPS no tanks to get ppl up again when someone goes down (someone will go down), and worse all the DPS just dies hella fast sometimes having nearly killed the boss lol. Wash, rinse, repeat. Over and over and over and over and over and over for all these forsaken modes. Getting the mats to craft the core is itself a chore like no other. I mean if you don't want customers this is a good way to get rid of them.
