Oh boy, I recently fixed my dryer and got to look at the inside. It's a big empty box of steel shred with a motor down in one corner, make sure the motor has copper windings, not coated aluminum, before you break any sweat trying to get at it. There's a couple scraps of copper wire, at best. If you get a free dryer and fix it for cheap then flip it, that might be worthwhile, otherwise, fill it with other steel shred, take the whole thing to the yard, don't even turn a screw on 'em.

Almost all dryer motors are aluminium wound these days. Another way to make money is if there is change, paper money, or jewelry inside the dryer I've found almost 15 dollars in change in 1 dryer alone!

I tried washing my dishes in my dryer many times, but it never seems to work.

Tom you got to be on the hunt for coins! They can be anywhere along the bottom! In Canada we can even find 1 and 2$ coins in there often. Fun video, thanks! I'm surprised you guys don't buy the aluminum wound motors and transformers. The casing of that motor is either aluminum or zinc as well. Surely those things are worth more than shred price?

If your gunna open a washer and dryer that much at least use a Sledgehammer to brake off whatever cast aluminum you can around the motor if it made with cast which most times they are in washer or dryer however really not worth the sweat but the stainless steel drum you can sell on marketplace for 50 bucks used for fire pit

I have a question. Have you ever taken apart a car battery and melted dn the lead and compared it to just scrap price for the battery itself? Is it worth the effort?

An expensive investment, but we do agree

I disagree with the whole video since it’s not a dishwasher like the video title says lol
