The JetDri MK1 was an AK2801. I personally don’t mind this toilet design.

I found one of these before at some department store in Beverley. Even know the dryer itself is a meh due to it being a JetDry the branding is relatively rare too see. At least it hasn’t been Air-streamed though, whether it’s the operators choice or not I’m not sure.

They can be very loud depending of the size of the toilet and how echoey the toilet is, but I don’t care how loud is it, they are still good and powerful dryers that dry your hands super quick.

That’s not the only reason why these are hated, they are also not liked for the poor reliability.

They do offer metal casing so that’s reliable compared the plastic, it’s just the brushed motor is has that makes reliability poor, luckily, KINGWE offers a brushless variant, I think the normal brushed version should be discontinued.

Someone found a few that somehow were still running despite them being in a relatively heavy traffic application. So KINGWEs are capable of withstanding heavy use, but more often than not, they're better fitted for low - to medium traffic areas.
