@@JGMochey I've been wanting and trying to get one since I was 17. Never had the funds, had all the energy and strength in perfect shape to do all kinds of fun just no money. Now I'm 27 , gained some weight, with stress from work and age. I just kinda now have the funds, just need more free time, and to get in better shape. It sucks I had good shape for a bike and no money, the close I get to having money the further I get from being in shape with energy. It's a cruel dance life is sometimes

Good timing. I'm looking at a DRZ400 S and I'm 6'4". I'm wondering if I'll be too tall for it.

Well this being the SM model it sits lower than the S model. I believe the S model sits almost 2 inches higher than this one. For what its worth, my friend is 6'5 and rides a street bike no problem, and those are 4 inches shorter than mine. I think you will be fine imo.

I think the DRZ400S and E versions are about 36.8in vs the SM at 35in. So yes taller, but also who cares, go rip it. Factor in a seat that will lower it a bit if you want, I personally never lowered mine, just got used to it no issues. Most dirt bikes have a taller seat height than the DRZ does, so its just something to get used to. If you need to lower it more, there are ways to do so, either way just get out there and ride! Don't let something silly like seat height stop you from having fun!

I’m 5 foot exact I ride a ninja 400 and it’s lowered and I still can’t fully flat foot I can only put one foot down I’m looking for something lighter like a supermoto cuz that thing is heavy! I’m looking for a supermoto thats has the same power so that why I’m looking into this bike

Very different bikes, think about what you want out of a bike. Transportation? Stunt? Fun? Casual? etc... and you will find your answer. Both great bikes.

Humberto Zuniga it’s like 35-36”. I’m 5-8 and I have to tipppy tippy toe if I center the bike. If I lean to one side I can flat foot with my right foot on the peg which isn’t bad

If your too short do what I did when I learned to ride a rm 250 or jumped on a 125 at 4'9... I used a milk crate and kept the throttle wide open The need to come to a full stop is debatable on something like this You might get an itch to run from a cop. Back in the day this was easier to accomplish.

I wouldnt be too worried about how comfortable you are on the first day, week, month. You will adjust to it and feel right at home with a little bit of time. Each day it will feel better and better. Take it slow, be safe, and have fun. :)

Yes I am tall enough. I made this video to show my height 5'7, around a 29in inseam, to display how tall it would be on me to help others of various heights and inseams determine if the bike would be a good fit for them. Now I understand this may be too tall for some and not for others, but I believe it gives a decent guide line for those maybe on the fence or just looking at potential bikes and sizes to suit their needs. Also, there are many ways to lower bikes in different ways in case height or inseam is an issue, as well as different techniques to get around it. I believe someone shorter than I could handle this bike with no problems at all. Best of luck to you.
