@@theastronomer5800 The Bible says in John 3:16-36 that whoever believes in the Lord Jesus Christ shall not perish but have everlasting life, the Bible also says in Romans 10:9 that those who declare with their mouth that Jesus Christ is their God, Lord, and Savior they shall be saved. Revelation 1:8 says that Jesus is the alpha and the omega. Luke and revelation is the ending times, and Jesus is returning back. So are you going to submit your life to him or no? Narrow is the path that leads to the gates of heaven, but only few people find it. The gates that is the path to destruction is where many people find it! Jesus loves you SO MUCH! That he died on the cross, and was resurrected from the dead 3 days later to give us eternal life….!!.!.!.!.

Quran Surah 4:171 says that Jesus was the word of God, then John 1:1 says that the word was there in the beginning. Jesus was always here but when he was just born on this earth, he was in heaven before

Now let’s look at the first 19 verses of the chapter to see what is actually going on here: John 5:1-19, “1 After this there was a feast of the Jews, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem. 2 Now there is in Jerusalem by the Sheep Gate a pool, which is called in Hebrew, Bethesda,having five porches. 3 In these lay a great multitude of sick people, blind, lame, paralyzed, waiting for the moving of the water. 4 For an angel went down at a certain time into the pool and stirred up the water; then whoever stepped in first, after the stirring of the water, was made well of whatever disease he had. 5 Now a certain man was there who had an infirmity thirty-eight years. 6 When Jesus saw him lying there, and knew that he already had been in that condition a long time, He said to him, "Do you want to be made well?" 7 The sick man answered Him, "Sir, I have no man to put me into the pool when the water is stirred up; but while I am coming, another steps down before me." 8 Jesus said to him, "Rise, take up your bed and walk." 9 And immediately the man was made well, took up his bed, and walked. And that day was the Sabbath. 10 The Jews therefore said to him who was cured, "It is the Sabbath; it is not lawful for you to carry your bed." 11 He answered them, "He who made me well said to me, 'Take up your bed and walk.' ( verse 17-18). In verse 19, we can see that Jesus is actually talking about his human form not being able to do anything on its own. This is part of his statement of him being God. He’s saying he’s not just a mere man, but also God. We know this not just by the previous verses ( verse 17-18) where claims to be God. But, because he also said “ I say to you, the Son can do nothing of Himself, but what He sees the Father do; for whatever He does, the Son also does in like manner.” Now let’s take a look at the next verses leading up to verse 30: John 5:20-29, “20 For the Father loves the Son, and shows Him all things that He Himself does; and He will show Him greater works than these, that you may marvel. 21 "For as the Father raises the dead and gives life to them, even so the Son gives life to whom He will. 22 "For the Father judges no one, but has committed all judgment to the Son, 23 "that all should honor the Son just as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. 24 “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. 25 Most assuredly, I say to you, the hour is coming, and now is, when the dead will hear the voice of the Son of God; and those who hear will live. 26 "For as the Father has life in Himself, so He has granted the Son to have life in Himself, 27 "and has given Him authority to execute judgment also, because He is the Son of Man. 28 "Do not marvel at this; for the hour is coming in which all who are in the graves will hear His voice 29 "and come forth--those who have done good, to the resurrection of life, and those who have done evil, to the resurrection of condemnation.” Notice verse 21 Jesus says that he also gives life. This is him again claiming oneness with God. And verse 22, Jesus is claiming to be judge, again making the claim of oneness with God. And verse 23, that all should honour the son as the father. This is again Jesus claiming oneness with God. And verse 24, Jesus is saying he who believes in his word, so he’s claiming it as his word. So, again he’s claiming oneness with God. And verse 25, he is claiming to be God, which is understood as so by the immediate context of the surrounding verses. And verse 28 is Jesus talking about his voice and by saying those in the graves will hear his voice, he’s talking about resurrection. So, this is Jesus claiming that they will be resurrected by his voice. So, again he is claiming to be God. Jesus has already claimed to be God 8 times before verse 30.

Revival7 - At the beginning of Christianity there were three sects that sprung out from Judaism: the Gnostics (philosophical thought of what they interpreted what meant to be a Christian); Judeo-Christians (believed in circumcising and keeping their Jewish Faith plus teachings of Jesus), and teachings of Paul. Paul never met Jesus and persecuted and killed early Christians. The form of Christianity as interpreted by Paul survived. The others pretty much died out. Neither Jesus nor the Apostles in the early Church left Judaism. Jesus remained Jewish. All of them were circumcised. Now, God had made a Covenant with Abraham as follows: Inherit the land of milk and Honey, descendants as his wife was sterile and were pretty old, and that those descendants would rule over the all nations. In the times of Jesus, Israel has been ruled by the Romans which led to a 200 year old civil war among the Jews and also against Rome. Therefore, the last promise to Abraham that his descendants would rule over all nations had not yet come to pass. Paul was previously Saul...Jesus recognized that the last promise made to Abraham needed completion and Paul, upon becoming a “Christian” set out to convert gentiles and bring them to Israel so that the promise to Abraham would come to pass. Paul did not require gentiles to circumcise and that was a big deal to most of the Apostles. Paul saw that the ends of days would happen in his lifetime. All of them remained Jews, including Jesus. No one knows when the 4 books in the the New Testament were written, but it is clear that they were written much later by the followers of Paul. Jesus was a Rabbi who had a master teacher who was a Pharisee. They taught a philosophy of peace and love. I could say more. I’m not a Muslim. I’m a Christian. Throughout the Bible Jesus calls himself “the Son of man.” It was subsequent Christians that made him the “Christ.” The first Bible was written in Greek because Greek in the early centuries was the Master Tongue.” Certainly some of the letters between Christian followers were written in Aramaic and Hebrew.

The one who should be worshipped, right? And not him John 20:17, Gospel [And indeed God is] my Father, and your Father [Creator]; and my God, and your God." In Islam beliefs, Allah has power beyond everything. If he say Be then it is. He ask Gabriel the one who place Jesus in Mary's belly until it makes her pregnant without husband. And Allah wisely make Jesus could speak when he was a baby to protect his mother from people's insults towards Mary. That's also the reason of your trinity, because yes this was happened only God and Gabriel who knows, but Mary didn't know anything so it couldn't be called as Jesus the son of God because God doesn't have connection to Mary or even as his wife on earth like Zeus dating a woman and had a baby half God like in Clash of Titans. Jesus is just a messenger of God, sent to be a good example of man to follow but not to worship him. He sent for Jewish not to establish new religion or whatever. Don't you know the history of Jewish back then towards many prophets? Also they have killed 300 unmentioned prophets in Quran.

Since allah is all knowing and all wise, couldn't he come up with a better plan?? B) Why did Jesus while on the cross (or the guilty person on the cross resembling Jesus) say the following : a) And now Father, glorify me in your presence with the glory I had with you before the world began (John 17:5) b) Forgive the sins of the good thief and say to him, that he will with him in paradise today. (Luke 23:43) c) Father, forgive them, for they donot know what they're doing (Luke 23: 34). How can a guilty person possibly say this? I.e. if It wasn't Jesus on the cross, then whoever was on the cross had to be a guilty person (like Judas for eaxmple). Why on earth would a deceitful Judas pray for forgiveness of his murderers and not forgiveness for his own sins??

I myself believe that Jesus was not God but the son of God. God cannot be born but the bible says that jesus was the firstborn,and then everything came through him. It's in John 10:30-33. In verse 30 He said that He & the Father are One & in verse 33, the Jews who conversed directly with Him understood that the sentence meant He claimed to be God. If someone 2000 years later interpreted that as meant They are only One in purpose, would be very absurd because, again, those who conversed with Him directly, and supposedly were highly educated scholars, understood the sentence precisely as Lord Jesus claimed to be God. To ask for a precise sentence "I am God, please worship me" would be like someone call you on the phone "hello can I speak to John" and insist that you must answer precisely "I am John" when he call instead of "yes, speaking" or "this is he", otherwise, for that caller, you cannot possibly be John.

Elle.Hazel1 Another important passage for Christians, which they consider as evidence of Jesus’ (PBUH) divinity, is what we find in the Gospel according to John, “Whoever has seen me has seen the Father”(John 14:9). They understand that the father is Jesus, and seeing Jesus is in fact seeing Allah (S.W). This shallow understanding is poor, faulty and feeble, and creates many problems that suggest blasphemy to Allah (S.W), who is above all problems and any human faults. If seeing Jesus (PBUH) is considered as seeing the Father, it is compulsory to consider slapping Jesus and spitting in his face (Matt. 27:30) as slapping and spitting on the Father Himself, Allah (S.W), Creator of the heavens and earth. Similarly, Jesus’ ignorance of the Day of Judgment is considered as a nescience to Allah (S.W) (Mark 13:32-33). When Jesus ate and drank (Luke 24:42-43) it was also considered, according to this shallow understanding, food and drink for the Father. Can anyone imagine that Allah (S.W), who created everything, eats, drinks, micturates, and defecates? To understand the passage correctly, we read from the beginning, and it says,“I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you to myself”,the place that he mentioned is the kingdom. Thomas did not understand and said, “Lord, we do not know where you are going. How can we know the way?” (John 14:5). He understood that Jesus (PBUH) spoke about a real road and a real journey. Correcting him and explaining that it is a spiritual journey, Jesus (PBUH) said, “I am the way, the truth, and the life”,meaning, following God’s statute and His religion alone will lead to the kingdom of heaven. Then, Philip asked him to show them Allah (S.W); thus, Jesus (PBUH) scolded him, saying,“Have I been with you so long, and you still do not know me, Philip? Whoever has seen me has seen the Father. How can you say, 'Show us the Father'? (John 14:10) meaning, how could you ask such a thing, since you are a Jew, and you know that Allah (S.W) cannot be seen? Who ever has seen me, has seen the Father, when he witnessed Allah’s deeds - the miracles -, which I performed. This passage is the same as in Matthew,“Then the King will say to those on his right, 'Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink, I was a stranger and you welcomed me, I was naked and you clothed me, I was sick and you visited me, I was in prison and you came to me.' Then the righteous will answer him, saying, 'Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you drink? And when did we see you a stranger and welcome you, or naked and clothe you? And when did we see you sick or in prison and visit you?' And the King will answer them, 'Truly, I say to you, as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.'(Matt. 25:34-40) and no one in this world will say that the hungry one was the king; it is just an example and a metaphor. Similarly, Mark said, "Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me, and whoever receives me, receives not me but Him who sent me." (Mark 9:37). This passage does not mean that the boy is Jesus (PBUH) himself, or that Jesus (PBUH) is Allah (S.W) Himself. It means that, he (PBUH) tells us that whoever does good deeds for the child, is the same as doing it for him, and is obeying Allah (S.W) and His orders. Similarly, as anyone who has seen Jesus (PBUH) is considered as if he or she has seen Allah (S.W), then whoever accepts Jesus (PBUH) and his disciples, has accepted Allah (S.W), and whoever has denied their message, he or she - in fact- has denied Allah’s Law. Therefore, Jesus (PBUH) said, "The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me." (Luke 10:16) He (PBUH) confirms that again when he said,“Whoever receives you receives me, and whoever receives me receives him who sent me.” (Matt. 10:40) similarly, whoever has seen Jesus (PBUH) it is the same as seeing Allah (S.W), because, as he said,“Do you not believe that I am in the Father and the Father is in me? The words that I say to you I do not speak on my own authority, but the Father who dwells in me does his works.”(John 14:10). In the Book of Acts, when Peter spoke to Ananias regarding the field’s money, is similar. “While it remained unsold, did it not remain your own? And after it was sold, was it not at your disposal? Why is it that you have contrived this deed in your heart? You have not lied to men but to God." When Ananias heard these words, he fell down and breathed his last. And great fear came upon all who heard of it.”(Acts 5:4-5). To lie to people is to lie - in fact - to Allah (S.W), and that does not mean that people and Allah (S.W) are the same. The seeing, when he said “Who has seen me has seen the Father” is metaphoric, which is the insight seeing and not the sight, and this insight seeing is for all believers, who are from Allah (S.W). Jesus (PBUH) said,“not that anyone has seen the Father except he who is from God; he has seen the Father.”(John 6:46) and all the believers are from Allah (S.W). “Everyone who believes that Jesus is the Christ has been born of God, and everyone who loves the Father loves whoever has been born of Him.” (John (1) 5:1) Another proof is what Jesus (PBUH) said after that. “Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live.”(John 14:19) He is not talking about real sight, since he is talking about his ascension to heaven and at that time, the world and the disciples will not see him. He is talking about the faith and spiritual insight, in which the believers and the disciples will be able to see and feel, but not the others. What comes in Matthew supports this. Matthew said, “And no one knows the Son except the Father, and no one knows the Father except the Son.” (Matt. 11:27) Another passage, which is similar, that comes in the Gospel according to John: “And Jesus cried out and said,"Whoever believes in me, believes not in me but in Him who sent me. And whoever sees me sees Him who sent me. For I have not spoken on my own authority, but the Father who sent me has Himself given me a commandment--what to say and what to speak. And I know that His commandment is eternal life. What I say, therefore, I say as the Father has told me."(John 12:44-51) and it meant insight. His saying, “Who has seen me has seen the one who has sent me”, does not mean that who has seen the one sent - the Son - has seen the sender - the Father-- unless they both are one. Furthermore, this can be refuted by his saying, “You heard me say to you, 'I am going away, and I will come to you.' If you loved me, you would have rejoiced, because I am going to the Father, for the Father is greater than I.” (John 14:28) and “My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all, and no one is able to snatch them out of the Father's hand.”(John 10:29). No Christian would affirm that the Father is the Son, but they are different personalities, even though they claim that they - the Son and the Father- are united. In his book, "Commentaries on John’s Gospel", Priest Matta El Meskeen said, “Christian belief is that, the hypostases of God are different. The Father is not the Son, nor the Son is the Father, and each hypostasis has his own divine characteristics.”[1] Therefore, who has seen the Son, did not see the Father. Finally, according to the Bible, it is impossible to see Allah (S.W) in this world: “No one has ever seen God; the only God, who is at the Father's side, he has made him known.”(John 1:18)“who alone has immortality, who dwells in unapproachable light, whom no one has ever seen or can see. To Him be honor and eternal dominion. Amen.(Ti. 1 6:16) Therefore, taking this verse “Who has seen me has seen the Father” as evidence for Jesus’ divinity is weak and feeble, and is the insight kind of seeing as I mentioned above.

So for the ummah of Jesus he was the truth the truth and life. Even at the time of Moses , Moses was the way the truth and life. They all (prophets) were the truth the way of life at their time. There is an insincerity in the challenge of this preacher. The disciples of Jesus preached His divinity, per example John in the first chapter of his gospel and clearly the book of Revelation, but muslims believe John lied. So, any reference whatsoever about Jesus besides Coran is not trustworthy to muslims. So, Bible and Coran cannot argue, which means Allah and the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob are not the same, which means one must be God, and the other the Devil. That's why until Jesus will come as King of Kings and Lord of Lords to judge, there will ever be strife between the spiritual children of Ishmael and those of Isaac.
