I''m happy this can be used on a wide array of sounds, at first glance I thought it was only built for kicks and snares. What about an input gain? Is that important? it seems to be the only critique I found in reviews.
@xlnaudio5 жыл бұрын
Input gain doesn't affect Attack/Sustain/Mojo controls. Input is only important for Soft clip, but the gain knob next to it controls the gain into soft clip.

XLN Audio thanks! Any chance you guys will add presets? It would be helpful, especially for new producers like myself. Love the plugin.

@@TheDude-vx6wn Transient is really easy to understand and figure out dude. Presets are really unnecessary for this plugin.

Great tutorial, thank you. Btw, when playing things back whilst giving a tutorial, it would have been good to have your mic muted. Check out a freebie called Muteomatic which mutes tracks when playing back... That's really useful when doing things online too

So with this Plugin , as a beginner it can achieve what we want without having to do all the Extra Processing to the sound... But still will require Simple Eq & Glue Compression to get it all sound to Fit as One together...

Great video@ XLN, I read that this plugin can also be used to 'reduce ambience' from drum recordings. How would that work?

The Sustain control in DS-10 is great for that, if you don’t own DS-10 already then you can try it out with a 10-day free trial: www.xlnaudio.com/demos

THNX! Do you know if those features are included in the addictive software?

Why would you use this over Ableton's own drum Bus when you're already working in Live ? Genuinely asking.
