Couldn't you just imagine back then when a commercial would come on and when an episode would end for the day and you had to waitt for the next day, and you know how the soaps use to run for years. BOY! Now this keeps us up late at night trying to make the ends come soon to get to the next(smile)

Thank you so much for this channel Vicki ( presumably you're not the real Victoria Winters lol ), I have been fascinated with this series ever since I brought a Dark Shadows episode guide as a kid and was enchanted by it's tales of vampires and things that go bump in the night. Could have been playing dead and they would be none the wiser. In all seriousness it was awesome to see Roger and Burke sort of getting along for a moment

I used to watch this series on Netflix & they removed it. I was so bummed out. Then someone suggested KZbin and thank god I get to see it again! I was 2 when the series started but I remember hurrying home off the school bus to watch this scary creepy soap opera! I was hooked and now my goal is to watch the entire series! It's cheesy and corny and the acting is not the best but that unpolished innocence is so addictive!

This could be in the history of DS that they actually concluded a story line in a very satisfying way. We are usually left hanging; that's the one flaw in this series.

Not to blow it for you, but Dark Shadows had an acting troop. The actors played more than one character. For instance, Mathew will also reoccur in the 1795 storyline as Ben Stokes, and again later as the Professor Stokes. But Maggie's resemblance to Josette will be another storyline later. In my opinion it is the best storyline in all Dark Shadows. You have a lot to look forward to. It earned Ms Scott the title of the Queen of Scream in the 60s.

Avalon Folmsbee They were only allowed 5 speaking actors per episode (not counting non-speaking extras). Actors who spoke lines had to be paid differently than non-speaking ones. That's why you see the bartender and other extras just nodding, shaking their head, etc. when the speaking actors talk to them.
