Pat Sullivan I can see why David is having the fiery visions of Laura, as she is obviously targeting him. But why has Sam suddenly developed these extrasensory powers? Artistic instinctiveness?
@reneeg72869 жыл бұрын
atlantic 11561 ... Right you are. Oddly, later on when Barnabas shows up, Sam's sense of cognition doesn't seem so sharp anymore. He has no idea what's going on with his own daughter, and I don't think he even has any artistic urges about the matter, either.

If Laura changed her testimony, she would face perjury charges, and that would just about end all chances of obtaining custody of David.

Every time Vicky tries to talk to Rodger, he turns his back and walks in the other direction. Then when he sits down, she'll come over and try to talk and he'll get up and walk away. He just seems like a nerves snob that no one can tell him anything.

Roger's mistake was using the family aka Elizabeth's lawyer-he needed independent counsel so Elizabeth could not stop him.

That means they would have to hire different actors. I'm assuming that wasn't in the budjet on a show heading for cancelation soon.

I wonder what kind of paint Sam was using. I think acrylic paints might have been in use in 1966, but if it were oils, I wonder if the cover Sam drapes over it might cause the paint to smear.
@julienielsen37468 жыл бұрын
I thought that too. I started using acrylics in 1968. They started using them in the late 40's.

Sam needs to play Dokken's "Into the Fire" on loud volume while painting! (Of course, he'd have to go into a time machine and get the recording).

@jduff598 жыл бұрын
Lia, considering since I was a little kid, 50 years, I watched it with my older sister after school. But I've been on this KZbin binge watch only the last few months or so. I had "Quentin's Theme" playing in my head one day. and found It and then all of the great episodes. Good stuff, yes?
@lialee14888 жыл бұрын
Yes, I love that tune.. brings back memories of being a kid and having a crush on Quentin! :)
@jduff598 жыл бұрын
I thought Quentin was cool, and "Quentin's Theme" is a tune I've never forgotten (at all) in almost 50 years. I think it's an amazingly haunting tune. Amazing how I could remember it note-for-note when I never actually heard it from the DS years until recently.

Come on, Vicky, Frank is going to head the law office in Collinsport, and he would definitely hire you as his secretary if David ever left with Laura!

atlantic 11561 ... Is it just me, or does anybody else really want to see Vicky and Frank hook up? .... They'd be such a normal couple if they did. :) .. But I also believe that the house (Collinwood) also has a say in the matter. It's my opinion that sometimes that house selects who it wants to live there, and possesses this person's soul to some extent. Hence, that's why Carolyn is so stuck there. The house might not want to see Vicky go anywhere, or do anything with Frank.
@patrog219 жыл бұрын
Renee G Yes but she loves the big tough guy ex-prisoner Burke Devlin.
@atlantic-yq2wr9 жыл бұрын
Renee G Funny how the show had Burke dying in a plane crash in South America just as Vicky was about to marry him. In the Marilyn Ross novella "The Curse of Collinwood", Burke becomes the replacement boy friend for Vicky when her fiancée, Ernest Collins (a cousin or nephew within the family) is killed in a plane crash in South America!
@reneeg72869 жыл бұрын
Pat Sullivan .. Carolyn could do way better than Burke Devlin, believe me. But she can't take that step, because she's so afraid. She admits she fears leaving Collinwood several times in earlier episodes.

So frank and mr. gardener are moving to collinsport. .what happens to them? eventually they disappear off the show! The only other lawyer the show gets is tony peterson who becomes dr. hoffmans attorney and hides her diary about barnabas with him. If I remember correctly carolyn starts to date him.
