Great video but it would be nice if you explained what the ohms were on the speaker, tweeters and horn and the reason why you did parallel on the speaker series on the tweeter and then parallel to the horn

the 12 inch speakers are 4 ohm's, compression horn driver is 8 ohm's, the bullet tweeters are 4 ohm's. Each channel is 4 ohm's nominal

Kelton Machtolff | Technical Support Specialist | OE Support [ Stillwater Designs | KICKER ] So to add speakers to that enclosure you would need to box off the area where they would be mounted or the pressure from the woofers would blow the cones out of the added speakers. The ST would be the way to go if you are looking for loud clear mids and highs.

wiring them properly is the most important step, choosing your products, building the proper size enclosure, getting the right frequencies to the amplifiers, adjusting your amplifiers accordingly, adding the appropriate crossovers are all equally import when building. we test/ evaluate many products before we choose what we will use in each build. a capacitor is recommended but not required. as long as you can send the proper frequency to a speaker, compression driver a capacitor or crossover is not required.

The ds18 driver, the positive (red) it’s usually the negative connection, they come like that from (factory mistake) that’s why they fail all the time, you should check it whit a D battery before you connect

a 4 channel is recommended, about 500x4 RMS @4 ohm's is excellent. Bridge channels, 2x channel for MidBass, 2x channel for compression horn driver and tweeters 👍

I got a box. 2 prv 10MR1000 (15 years), 2 prv TW700Ti tweeters and a comando CRx-700AL. Someone ripped out the board that holds the 2 tweeters and horn. There’s 2 sets of wires left dangling in the box where that board goes and one set of wires coming from one of the tweeters. I’m confused as to what hooks up to what. The 2 PRV 10MR1000 are wired up and good so no issues there just with the 2 tweeters and horn. The box itself has 4 sets of wires (8 wires + & -) that connect to the amp. Anyways any help will be greatly appreciated

most likely one set is for the tweeters, other set for the compression drivers. if you need assistance bring it to your local shop. you van use a single 4 channel amplifier for this setup

a single out put amplifier is not recommended, a 4 channel amplifier is.

Well that would be my customers choice. I recommend equalizers only if more adjustment is desired. Generally most amplifiers crossover sections are enough. I do understand many people are more comfortable using external crossovers. Some people even use multiple equalizers to maximize adjustability. At my shop we offer only equalizers and never crossovers.

I don't understand your inquiry. The tweeters & compression horn driver share the same channel. the tweeters are wired in series with there own capacitor, the compression horn driver is wired parallel with tweeters which has it's own capacitor. It has a combined nominal impedance of 4 ohm's

That’s the best way to wire it I really don’t like it when u guys wire a mid with 2 tweeters being in series and then the driver with the other mid in parallel u have less control over your mids and highs cause they play totally different
