How do I make the scanner give commands to Microsoft Windows, for example, pressing the function buttons, Ctrl+P to print or press F10 etc?

I wonder how old this video is? The documantation I have for the DS2278 indicates that it is a 2D scanner and can in fact scan driver licenses wich are a standardized PDF417 bar code. Contrary to the inormation provided by the presenter. Just something to be aware of if you're purchasing the DS2278 for the purpose of scanning licenses for alchohol or cigarette transactions requirign an ID.

looking for a wireless that can be programmed to drop the 2 outside numbers of a bar code. can this one be programmed to do this.

I have newly bought ds2208 and its working great..but its scanning light is always on..even when not using it. Is there any way to make it automatically turn on and off?? Kindly help...
