This video takes you through our MOES procedure beginning to end. Very difficult with a dementia patient. Dad pulled off his bandage between 5 (last time it was seen on) and 7 am when it was gone. But we anticipated that and the surgeon glued the incision over the stitches. No bleeding so far. Fingers crossed.

Im finding I already have a bit of an issue with the same thing. I can remember what I did as a child & medical training, however ask me when I go to the grocery store what I was supposed to get--- 🤔 💭... I ALWAYS forget a few things or I forget what time I take medication and things like that. My better 1/2 is worse. She can't seem to remember either, but think her short term is a bit better than mine, but for some reason she can't remember many things or places we went years ago. Not sure which is more worrisome. 😅

Mohs' procedures are no fun. I've had about 15 of them mostly on my face. PLEASE WEAR SUNSCREEN PEOPLE!! Not only is the surgery difficult but so is the aftercare for at least a few weeks. Dan, bless you for keeping Pop calm and nursing him back to health. At least the face heals quicker vs extremities because of blood flow. I hope Pops keeps his hands away. I know many people think that Ed is being taken advantage of but he is a highly intelligent man. If he had a problem with them talking on camera about his condition he would raise objection and if he was being mistreated in any way he wouldn't be so damned calm and good natured. I think Dan and Danielle and everyone else involved love Ed and they have his back. Trust me no money in the world would be pay enough for what they have to go through on a daily basis to care for him. That caliber of caregiving is because they love and respect him.
