DSARM, this was absolutely incredible. You did a great job portraying a story here, THE story, Max Clark. Max is great for baseball. Mark Appel said it perfect...this game is unforgiving. Injuries, bad games, etc. it's so easy to fall into the trap of social media, but kids like Max Clark have used it to their advantage. I hope he becomes GREAT. Hopefully he falls to the Reds at 7, I'll be ecstatic.

Declaring a high school kid as “MLB’s next superstar” no matter how talented is silly. The skill gap between even the most elite HS prospect baseball and the MLB is light years apart. In baseball more first rounders fizzle out before doing anything with their pro career than any other sport. Does he have as good a chance as any? For sure. But the level of attention and pressure that gets put on 16-18 year athletes these days is ridiculous.
