Great video, can you still measure the Tg using the peak with relaxation present?

As always, great video Dr. Gaisford! One question related to the video: when heating an aged glass sample just above the Tg, would the cooling rate matter in a similar way as if we were cooling directly from the melt? Also, could you make a video on modulated DSC and how it helps separate "reversing" and "nonreversing" signals? Even after watching lots of videos online, which just throw some equations at me, I feel like I don't really understand it. I love the way you teach, so thank you for taking the time out to make these videos!

Now you raise some very good points! Firstly, cooling rate would matter - the faster the cooling rate, the lower the Tg will appear. There's a video on that coming soon (the next video will be about plasticisers, and then cooling rate). I will indeed do a video on modulated DSC, although to be fair the maths behind that is tricky! Glad you're finding the videos helpful though :)
