DSG7 P17BF Error , P17BF Repair with Kinergo repair Kit.

In this video I am repairing a cracked DQ200 Valve body that throws error P17BF. P17BF is the most common error thrown by this gearboxes and this happens when the oil accumulator housing cracks. The crack is almost impossible to see if the problem it is at the start. This kit it is a bit more expensive than replacing the whole vavle body housing but it will save you a lot of time in the process.

Thanks for the video. I just had one question. In my DQ200 car, sometimes at the traffic lights when I am stationary and I let go of the brake pedal the car takes 2-3 seconds to go forward, especially on uphill. Does this Kinergo repair kit solve this problem? Thank you very much.

Great info! Is there any garage in London who can do this repair? Most of them quote around £1k+ even for repair which seems a lot considering this unit only costs £200...

Nice video. Looks almost too easy. You don’t recommend having the DQ200 remapped then due to tuners increasing the oil pressure for better clamping on clutch? One more question. In S mode is the clutch pressure greater than in D mode due to the engine revving higher? Cheers.

There is no CLUTCH pressure , there is system pressure. Pressure is going on a sinusoidal curve , as pressure falls, pump starts pumping to create pressure ... then stops and pressure drops,... when at minimum level, pup starts again ....and so long.

@@GigiBeleaDK thank you for your answers. Final question(maybe) How can you eliminate clutch slipping when accelerating hard in D? This happens to my car in 3rd and 5th gear. There is no judder in 1st or 2nd. This is a new clutch, 10months old. (2010 golf 1.6tdi) Most of the time gear change is smooth but sometimes over revving occurs between shifts? Sorry to trouble you with my questions.
