fantastic ,but mecanilly it can be destoyed by the oaf during function (the bearing and the shaft)try to sharpen the end of bolts for reducing the resistance

Great idea sir, I made this plate of screw at home, but lot of weight in disc plate because of screw, screw size is 2'' long, please suggest does this will affect the top gear of brush cutter or its engine. Please suggest

Design analysis of needs 1) Obviously a dirt-deflector! You do nor want your soil in your neighbours garden.. The soil has to be caught and redeposited no more than a yard to the side. Perhaps an old tire could be cut up and used for that. 2) The shaft from engine to business-end, is really not helping you! There is a torque that eventually will make 'something' break. 3) Weight and ergonomic stress on your body. It will only take a limited time before you will feel the stress of the friction against the ground, as pain.. The length of the shaft only add to this! So.. a Keep the dirt under control b Get rid of the shaft c Dont carry the contraption a+b+c = Lawn-mover with dirt-disk! A Weed-eater is not optimal platform. A lawn-mover would be better!

An interesting experiment. However, it was immediately clear that a disk with such a lot of bolts and nuts would be too heavy. Especially compared to a light spool of trimmer line. in addition, all the bolts located in the second and third circles closer to the center are not needed at all because they do not have time to work, all the work is done by the cutting elements located on the outer orbit. This is how a trimmer line works and this is how a disk with pobedite potions works.

Everything is fine. If you sharpened (grinded) the rim of the circular plate and pressed punch-type or screwdriver-type tips to make a better use of the work of the disc you made. Tudo está bem. Need to watch that drill ! It will grab them headphones quick ! Not bad. But almost seemed like the regular weed whacker would do about as good. One big difference I noticed is you wouldn't have to constantly have to keep putting line on it ! ! Like you said if it was a bigger machine is think there would be better results with the garden clearing part. .

I would try and cut away some of the unnecessary metal plating if you can also try 1", 2" and 3" in pattern that way not all trying to dig into dirt at same time until you have already gone thru the longer bolts also look into 3D printing something like this I think it would be fun and very educational. Ok I need to finish watching to see if you made any changes
