I love the bass on the P12, maybe moreson than the P-6! Granted the P6 is well known for exceeding in other areas...

Fleur De Lys The girth parameter is pretty solid for beefing things up. Usually adds around 90-120hz to my ear, havent actually analyzed it.

I just find that turning up the resonance on the LP filter at all will suck out all the bass, but I think that's a given with polysynths so that the bass of multiple voices isn't overwhelming.

Great demo ! 8:16 = Massive Attack (100th Window) Nice. I must say I was impressed with the P12 sound. But I think it's just somewhat overpriced . So I bought the Summit. I think it's a great competitor for the P12. EDIT 03/03/23 : I bought a P12 AND your patches ! They are top notch!!

Great sounds. Was trying to decide between Quantum and this... different i know ...feeling more convinced now for p12,cheaper and better quality and support i have heard. Nice patches again.

I was the same but with the iridium, going prophet12 now. It’s a classic and I read Arturias pigments can do 99% of what the Waldorf can.

How do we load them up on the profit?

To load the sounds, you will need a MIDI utility or other application capable of opening and sending MIDI System Exclusive (SysEx) messages. MIDI-OX (Windows) and SysEx Librarian (Mac OS) are shareware MIDI utilities that can reliably be used to update DSI instruments. Another way is with the Soundtower Prophet 12 Editor, which I prefer... its a good way to organise and change patches...

in my opinion it has the perfect size, this is not a stagepiano, it's a synth... and for the money you get insane modulation routing capabilities and a hell of a synth...

Blade Runner patch sounds indistinguishable from a real analog oscillator. Sounds same as the cs 80 to me, and adagio sounds like real string samples...well close enough.
