Irl he's not :) In this AU, he was. I mean- He killed Dream's mother in front of him and Drista, he abused Dream and his siblings, he didn't take care of them too well which is why Dream and his older sister took care of the younger two until they got a step-brother after their father married another woman (still didn't treat her or her son right tho-). He always expected them to be "perfect" and didn't give them a childhood which is why Dream ran away after some time. After that his father started drinking etc.
