Great video. Twin is changing so quickly, it would be fun to see an update, with a side by side comparison of the route you drove.

Hey 30/Kimberly Road. Main Street.crossing Shoshone Street. Rudys. A Cooks Paradise. Addison Blvd. I live 8 miles out of town. Just a nice small town feel. Low crime. No congestion. But too many californian, Portlanders. And Seattle people moving in, plowinf up thr corn fields to build subdivisions, adding to the traffic and unwanted elements.

The ones who dislike this video, are the ones who wish they can be here. Give it a chance guys! It's really awesome here! Main St is pretty much one of the main places to hang out, especially during Western Days and October Fest! In the last couple of years, they made a trail, where you can go and walk to the Evil Knievel site and look around.

I'm originally from Southern CA. Moved to Las Vegas about 6 years ago, trying to get away from the craziness as more and more California's invade Nevada. Idaho has come up on my short list of potential states to move to along with a few others. Twin Falls popped up along with Coeur, Nampa, and a few others. How would you say Twin Falls compares to other places in Idaho? I'm originally from a small mountain town in CA so the main street in Twin Falls looks almost identical to where I use to live. I have 3 young kids under 10 so I'm curious what there is for kids to do to stay preoccupied in Twin Falls and Idaho as a whole. My biggest concern is them making new friends there since all their friends are all in CA, is there social groups they can join? They're all homeschooled. The real estate market looks absolutely ridiculous in Twin Falls, but I guess that's how it is all over the country. Thanks!

@@Superman-xr1oh Twin Falls is smaller then Nampa, which is located in Boise, where more cities are located, each just about touching each other. Don't want to move there, too much traffic, air pollution, ect. Twin is bigger then Ceur d'Alene is up near the pan handle, haven't rlly been there, so I can't say much about it. Good fishing near by. Twin Falls has grown the last few years, with people moving out of California and such. Traffic has gotten to be a nightmare on alot of streets. But the community is pretty awesome. Pretty quite at night. Crime rate is pretty low. But I would rather live in one of the smaller towns, like Buhl, Jerome, with less traffic, ect. But close enough for any outings and such. Around the magic valley, there's good fishing spots, camping, hiking, kayaking. Also several state parks from a few minutes away to several hours away, like Craters of the moon and city of rocks. There's a boys and girls club on CSI campus for kids. Also alot of hiking trails on the campus, as will as on the canyon. Don't have any kids, but there's alot of places that's available for them, especially in the summer time, like the library, museum, ect. There's a rock painting group called Twin Falls Rocks on Facebook, where you can join, paint rocks, hide them for others, members will post where they hide rocks, give tips, ect. Also a nice little shop called Hands On, for picking out a ceramic piece and paint with family. Also a water pad on main, where you can go sit while kids run through water fountain. I'd check the official website for the town to get more of an idea, think I'm missing on some stuff. All I can think of right now. Hope you look what your looking for.

I loved that part of the downtown starting at 2:33 it has a nice modern feel to it , but it looks surprisingly empty is it always like that ?
@racinette3 жыл бұрын
That part is pretty empty. The best part is the Historical area where all the buildings are brick and have antique designs.

When I moved to Boise in 2016 from Cali, I remember driving through Twin Falls and thinking, why the hell would anyone move here. So, meanwhile, I've signed a lease for a place there, and I'm moving from Meridian to Twin in May. Lol
