The first bit is understandable. He overlooked the pinwheel on the door. Fair enough. But then he just *completely derped the fuck out out* when it came to the combat. And then of course he blames the creators for his stupidity. Hilariously sad.

Oh, so that's what the Game Over screen of this game looks like. I thought it was never possible, assuming how much they hold your hand in this game. PHIL IS THE TRUE GAMER OF BEING HARDCORE BY NOT USING ANY OF THESE HAND HOLDING MECHANICS...but he has the intelligence of non-existent spec, so he *should* freaking use them. Common sense, what's that?
@warioland5239 жыл бұрын
TeirusuFX To be quite fair on my first playthrough the first main dungeon boss kicked my ass. Yes he is pretty tough for a first battle. You can't just go swinging that sword around. No you have to have precise and accurate with your swings and that boss is the reminder of how intense the combat in this game could be. I really like fighting the enemies in this game because they all have cool ways of taking them down.

Judging from the fact that there's eyeball symbolism everywhere in practically every single Zelda game, I think it's safe to assume that a lot of puzzles in the series are mostly based around perception, as in simply having a big enough attention span and sense of curiosity to look around and find the solutions to your problems. Or, you know, being able to see what's right in front of you. So I think it's confirmed that not only does this guy have little to no intelligence, attention span, or drive to adventure, but he's also legitimately blind, as well!

Why would he think the Bellows had combat potential? It's a gust of fucking wind! Sure the Deku Leaf could stun enemies and stuff in Wind Waker, but that was more of a compressed blast.
@jr568711 жыл бұрын
Because he tried something and it did a desired result. Once Dsp tries something that even only slightly works then, that's it! That's exactly what he has to do, that's what everyone has to do, this is exactly what the developers had in mind, so he should try this strategy over and over again till it works and nothing else shall even be attempted! It's like he thinks everything he does is perfect and everything else is the game's fault for not forming to play style.
@cathoderayguns11 жыл бұрын
Jesus, is he really angry at Nintendo because he thinks they're smarter than he is? I mean, they are. They have jobs, they have talent and skill, they create things. But come on. They make a console specifically to cash in on the casual boom, and the games on that system are too smart for him?
@hugehuman111 жыл бұрын
Wow. This is the absolute dumbest I've seen DSP act. It's really like he forgot he had a sword and shield.
@fearedjames11 жыл бұрын
He's been shown outside of his gaming videos to really be as stupid and assholish as he is inside them. Unless he's kept the act up so consistently, including at every convention and tornement he's been to, as well as when ever he's talked to anyone in Fighting game tornements. He isn't acting.

I have a theory, hear me out. Phil was tired of using the sword to kill enemies, because he felt that it was too hard work. He wanted it to be like a first person shooter. So he thought he could use the bellows as a machine gun to kill enemies, cause it feels like a gun in his hands. The air coming out, PEW PEW PEW PEW...

This is the kind of guy that would play tetris and stack every block in a single line to the top. This is the kind of guy that would play knock-out and get beaten by Glass Joe making his record 2-0 only to find out that one other guy that was beaten by Glass Joe is 10x better than him. This is the kind of guy that would play pokemon using only sand attack and blame the game for being too difficult.

Hang on, didn't I read somewhere that the Wii was the biggest selling console of this generation, and also the reason Sony & Microsoft introduced Move & Kinect for their consoles? You're right, Phil. Nintendo know nothing.
@SirBobbyDazzler11 жыл бұрын
The Wii and Xbox Kinect followed after the PS2 Eye Toy and since the Eye Toy every Playstation console has had a camera for movement. The Move controllers are to improve accuracy and are very sensitive to the slightest movement unlike the Wii. Nintendo's latest console is a flop because everyone's Wii is packed away in a cupboard.
@jazzygeofferz11 жыл бұрын
Wii U isn't selling well at the moment because it doesn't have that killer app yet. Once a game is released that properly demonstrates all the console's features then things might pick up. The 3DS was a bit of a slow seller to start but has picked up steam, even more now that Pokémon is out. I think that something Similar could happen with Wii U with Mario Kart 8 on the horizon.
@SirBobbyDazzler11 жыл бұрын
I must admit I was surprised when the Wii did so well. It goes to show that content over graphics can work for some. I'm still not sold on the Wii or Wii U though.
@jazzygeofferz11 жыл бұрын
It's the way Nintendo don't try to compete. They look for the gap in the market and target that. I'm all about playability over style. That's probably why I still get mileage out of my older consoles.

Y'know, if you don't like Skyward Sword, then good on you. We all have different opinions, and I will acknowledge that while I loved it, it wasn't for everyone, I guess. However, even if you hate the game, you can NOT say that it is as bad as Phil claims it to be in this video! Nintendo would not be dumb enough to make a nearly unsolvable puzzle like Phil claims this one puzzle is.

21:24 Turret air shot. I'm pretty sure only DSP could make the turret look so skilled.
@seafarinmarin123911 жыл бұрын
DSP did the same dumb-ass move in Wind Waker. He got the boomerang and went to a room with a lot of Peahats, not knowing that he can kill them with the item he got in the dungeon, so he kept getting interrupted and attacked. Anyone who's even heard of Zelda knows that when you get an item in a dungeon, you use the hell out of it. Phil apparently didn't get this memo, even though he claims to have played Link to the Past before...

See, I may be on his side if the enemies were only vulnerable to bombs, or arrows, or any other item you got in a different dungeon, because of the way Zelda games work. But not trying the SWORD?
