If your balking at the price of this tool, believe me , it IS worth EVERY cent !!!! I just wish I'd bought the Full Monty set ! Like the awesome Dspiea Nippers, expensive but game changing , for me ! If your in the hobby for the long haul, buy quality, buy once. IMHO.

My needle fall out when I lift the device...is it supposed to do that?...yours looks like it stays in position in the vid!

is not suppose do that, the needle stay in position, because have a iman inside

Do you foresee replacing the cutting blade? or is it meant to last a lifetime?

I wouldn't say it will last a lifetime, but it's of good quality and has cut well so far. I think the durability will depend on the material you are going to cut and the care you take with the tool.
