I love these nippers. I went thru 4 or 5 godhands and needed something that would last longer. I put them thru the ringer and they are still going strong.

Have Tamiya 123 which are double edged and I keep them razor sharp. Made my own sharpening tool by glueing 1200 grit sandpaper to thin wooden stick and a few passes with this and it becomes literally razor sharp. Only use them for small jobs. Such a joy to use. They melt through the plastic.

After a bunch of research this was my first pair of precision modeling nippers, I have nothing to compare them to I but they have been working good as far as i can tell, provided you use them correctly

I ordered an st-l nipper a little while ago. They were 20 dollars and seemed ok for the price, they're my first nippers and I just hope they last long enough. I'm not really going to go all out and buy 20 gunpla kits to build, I'm only planning to build the eg rx78, hg aerial and rg hi nu in the next few months, whenever they arrive, and I dunno maybe one more kit at best this year, so I hope with like building 3 to 4 kits a year they'll at least last me 3 years lol. Is that too much to expect from them?

Love them, and here in europe they are much cheaper than the godhands. These go fro 45€, the godhands for 90 -100€.

There are some budget godhand nippers which are double blade and go for as low as 14 dollars on amazon and ebay and they are fantastic. they can be used to shave at the plastic to remove the nub down to nothing, dont even need to sand. it leaves a bit of a mark but thats fine for me because im painting everything. i never see anyone mention those low end godhand nippers. they are excellent. im going to order some of these Dspiae 3.0 and see how they compare. i also have the newer citadel "super fine detail" cutters and its total false advertising. they are super comfortable and the blade is extremely sharp for effortless cutting even through thick sprue but it leaves a nub. more nub than the 14 dollar godhand ever do. it good for first pass cutting if you are doing a lot of parts because its just so sharp and so comfortable in the hand. its not good for super fine detail though as was advertised in the name of the product.
